CG PET Seat Allotment 2020: The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) will release the 1st Seat Allotment online. The admission process in the participating Chattisgarh colleges is done through CG PET 2020 and JEE Main score. The candidates who have the domicile of Chattisgarh state are eligible for 90% seats. However, 10% of the seats are reserved for the candidates outside the Chattisgarh state that have JEE Main score. CG PET Seat Allotment Procedure 2020
The qualifying candidates of CG PET 2020 and JEE Main 2020 can take part in the process of seat allotment. In order to sit for the seat allotment process, the candidates will have to register themselves for the CG PET Counselling process. This is because the seat allotment is a part of the counselling process.
Here are the steps to participate in the CG PET Seat Allotment 2020.
Step 1: CGPET 2020 Registration
The candidates who have been shortlisted will have to register online for the counselling process by visiting the official website. At the time of registration, the candidates will have to provide their personal, academic, and other necessary details regarding the entrance exam.
Step 2: Choice Filling
Upon successful registration, the candidates will have to fill their college choices and courses according to their preferences. In addition to this, the candidates will be able to edit, alter, or modify their preferences. But, this facility will only work before they lock their choices. Once the choices are locked, the candidates will have to take a print out of the registration form. The candidates will need this form at the time of document verification.
Step 3: CG PET Seat Allotment 2020
The seat allotment takes place in online mode. Candidates need to login to their portal in order to access the seat allotment result. The allotment is done on the basis of the candidate’s rank in CG PET or JEE Main as well as their preference.
Step 4: Final Reporting to the Allotted College/Institute
The candidates who will be allotted seats will be required to report to the allotted college/institute in order to confirm the admission. At the time of reporting, the candidates must make sure that they possess all the necessary documents (original & photocopy). In order to confirm the admission, the candidates will have to undergo the document verification process and pay the required fees. Moreover, if the candidates wish to upgrade, they will have to report to the allotted institute and pay the necessary fees. These candidates will be eligible to sit for the next round of seat allotment. In case the candidates are given better seats in the 2nd or 3rd phase, the previously allotted seat will be canceled automatically.
Step 5: Verification of Documents
The candidate’s documents will be verified at the time of reporting. Here is a list of all the documents that a candidate must have.

- Recent 3 Passport Size photographs
- Marksheet of Class 12th
- Marksheet of Class 10th or Birth Certificate
- CG PET/ JEE Main Rank Card
