As per the details available right now, the Trivandrum region has again topped in terms of the success ratio of students with 99.28% pass percentage. CBSE 10th Marks for Cancelled Papers

CBSE would be awarding the marks for the cancelled papers that were scheduled for North East Delhi students in the month of July. The rest of the cancelled papers would be graded based on internal marks received. As for the North East Delhi students, the criteria would be the same as employed by CBSE – average of best of 3 or best of 2 subjects for the students who have appeared in 4 or 3 papers, respectively. Please note – NO CBSE 10th Students would have the option of appearing in the cancelled examinations at a later date. The marks awarded would be considered final.

As per a report filed by Times Now website, the CBSE Board has sent out an SMS to all the students who are waiting for the declaration of CBSE Results 2020 to download DigiLocker App and create an account on it to be able to access their mark sheet as soon as the results are declared. Taking into account the COVID-19 pandemic and closure of schools announced throughout the country, getting physical copies of marksheets, passing certificates and migration certificates would not be possible for the students. Therefore, as an alternative, CBSE Board would be providing digitally signed copies of these documents to the students via DigiLocker App, that will help them submit these documents for the admission procedure for higher studies.

How to obtain CBSE Mark Sheets / migration certificates via DigiLocker App?

DigiLocker App is a mobile app launched by the Government of India to help citizens obtain digitally signed copies of certificates for various government services, which also includes Board Exam Result Marksheets and other related documents. Students who are not familiar with DigiLocker App can follow the simple steps given below, to download the app and obtain digitally signed copies of CBSE 10th and 12th Result 2020 mark sheets:

Internal Assessment Scheme for Board Exams

Along with the declaration of result dates, the Board also shared the detailed assessment scheme that will be followed by it to declare the CBSE Board Results 2020 in July 2002. According to the official notification, the internal assessment scheme will mark students in following manner:

  • For students, who have completed all their exams / papers, their assessment will be done on basis of their performance in these papers and results will be declared in accordance with it.
  • For students, who have appeared in more than three papers, the average of the marks obtained in the best three performing subjects will be awarded as the score for the pending papers
  • For students, who have appeared in only three papers, the average score of best two papers will be awarded as marks in the pending papers
  • For students, who have appeared for only 1 paper, their results will be based upon internal/practical/project assessment.

CBSE 10th Board Papers Evaluation to be over by mid-June

According to the official reports, with nearly 50% evaluation work already over, Board plans to complete the checking of the rest of the answer sheets by 15th June 2020. As reported earlier, as per the plan shared by the board with the evaluators, CBSE hopes to complete the checking of answer sheets for CBSE Board Exam 2020 by mid-June. There are some subjects for which evaluation work has begun recently and these will take some time to be completed. This puts the tentative date of completion of the checking in mid-June 2020. After the evaluation work is completed, the board will process the marks and data which is expected to take another 10 days before the final result is prepared.

Verification of CBSE 10th Result

In case the candidate wants to get his/her CBSE Class 10th Result verified, then he/she can follow the procedure laid down by the Central Board of Secondary Education.

  • Request for verification of CBSE Class 10th Board Result can be submitted only online from the website of CBSE www.cbse.nic.in along with the fee of Rs.500/- per subject as per schedule is given in Annexure-I.
  • Candidates can make the fee payment online through Internet Banking/Credit/Debit Card only.
  • The CBSE 10th result 2020 verification will be available on the website of CBSE. However, in case of a mistake (or change in marks), a formal letter will also be sent to the applicant by speed post through concerned Regional Office of CBSE. In the case where there is no change of marks, no letter will be sent by CBSE. Applicants are advised to visit the website of CBSE for the status of verification requests.
  • Board will not be responsible for any loss or damage or any inconvenience caused to the candidate, consequent to the revision of mark(s) or delay in communication, for reasons beyond control.
  • Incomplete applications/offline applications will be summarily rejected.
  • Requests for verification will be available one time only.
  • Only those candidates who apply online for verification of marks will be eligible to apply for obtaining a photocopy of the answer book.
  • The fees are non-refundable for checking the cbse.nic.in result. \

Only those candidates who have applied for verification of Marks online in the manner as prescribed above will be eligible to apply for obtaining a photocopy of the evaluated answer book(s) on remitting the requisite fee of Rs. 500/- per subject for Class –X.
