University of Burdwan Admission Highlights
- The Application Form for admission releases online on its official website.
- To get admission to Post Graduate Courses, candidates have to possess a Bachelor’s Degree in the respective field.

Burdwan University Semester Date Sheet/Time Table
The Date Sheet or the Time Table of Bardhaman University is different from that of the Admission Dates. Here, we will provide you the exam time table for each Semester (Odd and Even Semester). Eligibility Criteria for Burdwan University Admission 2025
The Eligibility Criteria is the most important factor in the admission process. The details of the eligibility conditions will be available at the Burdwan University Prospectus of 2025-22. However, here we have provided brief details about the basic eligibility criteria of the University. So, check the following before applying.
- Candidates who want to enrol themselves in Undergraduate Programs will have to complete their 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks in their respective subjects.
- For admission in postgraduate programs, candidates have to score a minimum of 60% marks in their Graduation Course.
- 60% of seats are reserved for the students graduating from the University and the selection is based on the marks obtained in Hons. Level.
Admission Process for all Courses (Eligibility)
- The University offers admission to various courses on the basis of merit scores in the qualifying examination.
- Also, the University accepts valid JEE (Main and Advanced), GATE, NEET 2025, WBJEE, MAT Scores for admission in relevant courses.
Eligibility Criteria for Appearing Semester Exams
To appear the semester exam of Burdwan University, candidates must have a minimum attendance record of 70 to 75%. If there are any other criteria, then we will update it soon.
Burdwan University Admission Application Form
The University releases an application form for all the courses. Candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria can fill in the form before the due date. The Burdwan University Application Form releases on its official website. However, the mode of filling and submission is online only. Candidates have to enter their Personal, Educational and other details regarding the course.
Forms will be available on www.buruniv.ac.in. Candidates have to download the form and come with a demand draft in favour of the Finance Officer. Candidates have to submit the form along with the important documents such as Self-Attested Photocopies of mark-sheets, age-proof certificate, category certificate etc.
Application fee cost of Burdwan University
- The cost of the application fees is Rs 250 for all the courses.
- The mode of making the payment is Online through Internet banking/Credit/Debit Card/ E-Challan.
- In case of E-Challan, the fee can be paid in any Indian bank.
Burdwan University Semester Form
Candidates appearing for the Burdwan University Even or Odd Semester Exam have to fill a Semester Exam Form. The form is available on the website. Candidates have to fill the form offline and submit it to the teacher in charge. Also, the candidates have to submit their internal marks as well. Candidates must note that they must submit their forms before the due date. Submission of Application Form after the due date will be charged with a late fee.
Burdwan University Admit Card
Candidates can download their Semester Admit Card from the website. The hall ticket will be available for various course exams. The University releases, the Burdwan Hall Ticket a few days before the date of the exam. However, to download the Exam Admit Card, candidates have to enter their Roll number/Registration number and password or date of birth to download the hall ticket.

Burdwan University Admission Counselling
Candidates whose names are on the merit list will be eligible for the Counselling Round. However, the counselling process will take place offline, which means that the eligible candidates have to report to the centre on the specified date and timings. The Burdwan Counselling 2025 will take place rank-wise. But before, attending the counselling process, candidates have to make the payment of the admission fees online. So, at the time of counselling, candidates have to carry the required documents along with the e-receipt of the admission fees. The payment of the admission fees has to be done through online banking/credit card or debit card or through e-challan. Lastly, candidates who fail to reach the centre will not be entertained later.
