CG Scholarship 2025: The Chattisgarh Scholarship is provided by the Social Welfare Department of the state of Chhattisgarh. It provides opportunities to the students belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/Minority classes. Moreover, up till now, the government of Chhattisgarh has disbursed CG scholarship of up to INR 12.42 crore to over 87,000 students. Also, the CG scholarship amount has increased by up to 5-6% from the previous years. Furthermore, under the “Shiksha Sahyog Scholarship” Scheme, students both from Pre-Matric & Post-Matric levels are provided with an education grant every six months. Chhattisgarh (CG) Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 2025

The candidates who wish to apply for the CG Scholarship must check the eligibility criteria. Furthermore, any ineligible candidate applying for the scholarship will be disqualified. Furthermore, since there are so many  CG scholarship Yojana, therefore they all have different eligibility criteria. Hence, the candidate must check the eligibility of each accordingly. Moreover, there is one criterion that is common for all. That is, the candidates must be a resident of the Chhattisgarh state in order to apply for the scholarship.   • The candidate must be studying at a pre-matric level of education
  • The candidate’s annual family income must not exceed INR 2 Lakh

Rajya Chatra Vritti Scheme

SC/ST/OBC
  • The candidate must either be an SC/ST girl students, studying in class 3 or 5. Or an SC/ST/OBC student studying in class 6th – 8th
  • Also, the candidate’s family income must not fall under the Income-tax.
  • Also, the candidate’s family must not possess more than 10 acres of land

Post Matric Scholarship For SC/ST/OBC Students

SC/ST/OBC
  • The student’s family’s annual income must exceed INR2.50 Lakh. That is if the candidate is an SC/ST applicant.
  • The annual family income must not exceed INR 1 Lakh in case the candidate is an OBC student
  • Also, they must be studying at the Post-matriculation level

Kanya Saksharta Protsahan Yojana

SC/STThe candidate must be a girl student.

The candidate must be studying in class 5 & above.

Unclean Business Scholarship Scheme

SC/ST/OBC
  • The candidate must be a student of class 1-5
  • This scholarship scheme is eligible for only selective occupations. It is not based on class. Therefore, the candidate’s family must be working in the following occupations:
    • Scavenging families
    • Flayer families
    • Tanners
    • Waste Picking/Collecting families
  • There are no such income limitations. However, the candidate will have to provide the family’s annual income certificate

Chief Minister Gyan Protsahan Initiative Scheme

For All
  • The candidate must be studying in class 10th or 12th.
  • Also, the candidates must be a meritorious student in the previous qualifying exam.
  • The candidate must be studying under the following boards:
    • Chhattisgarh Secondary Education Board (CGBSE)
    • Indian Council Secondary Education (ICSE)
    • Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)

Disabled Scholarship Scheme

For All
  • The candidate must be a regular studying in school, college, technical course.
  • The candidate must be having 40% or above disability.
  • The candidate’s family income must be less than INR 8,000 per month.

DTE Chhattisgarh Scholarship

For All
  • The candidate must have secured at least 60% in 12th standard.
  • The candidate must have passed from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)

Documents Required For CG Scholarship 2025

The candidate must possess certain documents whilst applying online for CG Scholarship. Furthermore, they must make sure that the documents are valid. Since any invalid documents, lead to the cancellation of the CG State Scholarship. However, the documents required differ for different scholarships. Chhattisgarh (CG) Scholarship Award Details 2025

The schemes under CG Scholarship are mostly means based. They are launched to help the candidate in pursuing their education. Also, the CG Tribal scholarship award varies for different scholarships. There are some scholarships that provide cash in the form of the scholarship award. At the same time, there are scholarships which provide tuition fee waiver. Therefore, the candidate must check carefully whilst applying for the CG scholarships. Furthermore, to help the candidates, we have provided information pertaining to the same. Check further below.

Pre-Matric Scholarship For SC/ST/ OBC Students

The OBC girl who is eligible will receive a scholarship worth INR 600. However, the boy students will receive INR 450 every year.

The eligible SC/ST girl will receive a scholarship worth INR 1000. However, the boy student will receive a scholarship amount of Worth INR 800 every year.

Rajya Chatra Vritti Scheme

  • The students who are eligible & studying in class 3-5 will receive a scholarship worth INR 500 every year.
  • The SC/ST girl candidates from class 6th – 8th will also receive a scholarship amount worth INR 800. However, the boys will receive INR 600 every year.
  • The OBC eligible candidates will also receive a scholarship worth INR 450. However, the boy students will receive INR 300 every year.

Post Matric Scholarship For SC/ST/OBC Students

  • The SC/ST eligible hostellers will also receive a scholarship worth INR 3800. However, the non-hostellers will receive INR 2250 every year.
  • Furthermore, the OBC eligible candidates will also receive
    • For Hostellers: INR 1000 For students studying in class 11 & INR 1100 for class 12th students.
    • For Non-Hostellers: INR 600 Per annum for students of class 11. However, it is INR 700 per annum for class 12th students.

Kanya Saksharta Protsahan Yojana

  • The eligible girl students will receive a scholarship amount of INR 500 per year

Unclean Business Scholarship Scheme

  • The eligible candidates will receive a scholarship worth INR 1850 every year.

Chief Minister Gyan Protsahan Initiative Scheme

  • The eligible candidates will receive a scholarship worth INR 15,000.

Disabled Scholarship Scheme

  • The eligible candidates will receive a scholarship in the following manner:
    • INR 150 will be granted to students studying in class 1st – 5th
    • Rs. 170 will be granted to students studying in class 6th – 8th
    • INR 190 will be granted to students studying in class 9th – 12th.

DTE Chhattisgarh Scholarship

  • The eligible candidates will be provided with a scholarship worth INR 2000.
