Odisha e-Medhabruti Scholarship 2019-20: The government of Odisha under the scheme “e-medhabruti” have been awarding the scholarship each year to the meritorious students of Odisha. This scholarship is provided to the students whose parental income does not exceed 6 lakh to meet a part of their educational expenses while pursuing their higher studies. The main objective behind launching this scholarship is to motivate and help financially the meritorious students of Odisha for higher studies. The Higher Education Department of Odisha offers four scholarship under different categories and they are as follows:

Medhabruti Scholarship 2019-20 Eligibility Criteria
Odisha e-Medhabruti Scholarship 2019-20 are offered at various level. Student’s need to go through the specific eligibility criteria and if meet the same, then apply online. Odisha Medhabruti Scholarship 2019-20 vary for Junior and Senior merit scholarship. Before filling up the online application form, student’s need to check the below mentioned eligibility criteria first.
There are some basic eligibility criteria which are required for all the e-medhabruti scholarship and they are as follows:

Different level of scholarship is being offered by the Government of Odisha. Academic qualification required to apply for e-Medhabruti is different for the various scholarship. Student’s need to meet the academic qualification of a particular scholarship type to apply online.

Exclusions of Odisha Medhabruti Scholarship 2019-20
If the official authority finds any one of the points mentioned below, then he/she will be disqualified from the scholarship programme. The students will not be eligible for the scholarship even if they have registered.
- Student’s whose parental income from all sources exceeds Rs.6 lakh per annum.
- Student’s pursuing higher study open universities or distance learning/correspondence.
- Students already availing the scholarship for pursuing the higher study under any other schemes of state or central govt.
- Students pursuing diploma level courses are not eligible for the technical/professional relationship.
- Students of M.Phil, PhD, B.Ed & M.Ed are not eligible for P.G. or technical and professional merit.
- Student’s studying abroad.
- Student’s completing one technical/professional course pursues another technical/professional course are not eligible.
- Student’s admitted to the college/University/Institute not approved by the concerned regulatory bodies.
List of Documents Required at the time of Reporting for Scholarships
The shortlisted students will be required to produce a set of original documents along with one photocopy of the same at the time of document verification. Find the list of the document given below.
- Domicile certificate to be issued by the competent authority. i.e from the concerned Tahasildar/ Add. Tahasildar. The students who are working under the Odisha state Govt. can produce resident proof from the employer.
- Proof of annual income to be issued by the competent authority. i.e the revenue officer not below the rank of Tahasildar or Add. Tahasildar.
- Mark sheet & certificate of last qualifying examination as required for different categories of merit.
- Bank account details of the student concerned (first-page bank account containing account number or IFSC).
How to apply for e-Medhabruti Scholarship 2019-20
Interested and eligible students can apply within schedule date and time. No offline mode of application will be accepted by the concerned authority. The application form is likely to release in the 2nd week of September 2019. Deadline to fill up the application form is 2nd week of October 2019. Only verified online application will be considered for award of scholarship. General details need to be entered by the applicants correctly. After entering all the required information, submit the form. Take the printout of the filled up application form for future reference.
Only eligible students can apply online for this scholarship in online mode. The link will be provided here once it gets activated on the official website.
Outside students (Student of Odisha but studying outside Odisha) can also apply online for the scholarship if they have valid supporting documents. The students are required to submit the office copy of the application along with the other relevant documents to the institutes where she/he has been studying.
Odisha Junior Merit e-Medhabruti Scholarship 2019
The Higher Education Department of Government of Odisha offers the Odisha Junior Merit Scholarship 2019 to encourage the meritorious students for their higher education. To eligible for the Odisha Junior Merit Scholarship 2019, students should have a minimum of 60% marks in the class 10th board exam and student’s family income should be less than 6 lakh. Odisha Senior Merit e-Medhabruti Scholarship 2019
The Odisha Senior Merit Scholarship 2019 is for the students (both boys & girls) of Odisha state to complete their higher education i.e. B.A, B.Sc. & B.Com. As per the Odisha Senior Merit Scholarship 2019, all the eligible students who will apply online for this scholarship scheme will get Rs 5000 per year up to 3 years. Odisha PG Merit e-Medhabruti Scholarship 2019
The Higher Education Department of Odisha state offers the Odisha PG Merit Scholarship 2019 for the students of Odisha state who are pursuing MA, M.Sc. & M.Com. Eligible candidates who will fill the Odisha PG Merit Scholarship 2019 Form successfully on or before the last date will get scholarship amount of Rs 10,000 annual up to 2 years.
Odisha Technical/ Professional Scholarship 2019
The Odisha Technical/ Professional Scholarship 2019 is offered by the Higher Education Department of Government of Odisha for the students who are pursuing technical or professional courses. Factors considered shortlisting the applicant’s for Medhabruti Scholarship
To grant scholarship to the eligible registered student’s, the concerned authority takes the following factors into consideration.
- Fulfilment of eligibility conditions given in the scheme. Online authentication/validation of student record by the principal of concerned colleges/institute.
- Final merit/ selection list will be drawn in terms of percentage of marks obtained in the last qualifying examination from among the validated students in the respective category of merit. The mode of selection for the scholarship shall be made through the descending order of merit list.
- In case of a tie in the percentage of marks under a particular type of scholarship and some are to be left out due to exceeding the maximum quota of scholarship.
