Assam Scholarship 2025: The Assam Scholarship is launched to provide education to talented & meritorious students of the state of Assam. Assam is known as one of the seven sisters in the Northeast. It boasts of rich education, therefore, it provides free & compulsory education to the students of the age up to 14. Assam Minority Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 2025

The candidates who wish to apply online for the Assam Scholarship must check the eligibility criteria. Since any candidate who is ineligible will not be able to apply for the scholarships. Furthermore, the Assam Scholarship depends on conditions depending on the current academic qualifications & financial needs of the student. The one eligibility criteria which are common in all Assam Minority Scholarships is that the candidate must be a permanent resident of the Assam State. Therefore, the candidates must only apply online if they are eligible by the below-mentioned conditions.

  • The students studying in class 1st – 8th from an Assam govt. a recognized institution can apply.
  • Also, the annual income of the family must be less than INR 50,000
Pre-Matric Scholarship For ST Students (Class 9th & 10th), AssamFor ST
  • The students studying in class 9-10th (full time) from a govt or a govt. recognized school can apply for this scholarship.

  • The students must be pursuing their studies at the post-matriculation Level (Class 11th – Postdoctoral level) from a recognized institution.
  • The annual income of the family must not exceed INR 1.50 Lakh per annum from all sources combined.

  • The candidates pursuing post matriculation level (class 11th to post-doctoral level) from a recognized institute can apply.

  • It is a national level examination conducted at the state level for students of class 10th who are studying at recognized schools.
  • Also, the students pursuing their education via open distance learning can apply if, they are below 18 years of age.
Assam Foundation Of North America Academics ScholarshipFor All
  • Candidates enrolled in the bachelor’s degree course in any discipline can apply for this scholarship.
  • However, they must have passed higher secondary /CBSE/ISC/Pre University Examination.
  • Moreover, the annual income of the family must be INR 50,000 or less.
Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme For Central Armed Police Forces & Armed RiflesFor All
  • This scholarship is for the wards & widows of CAPF & AR Personnel (who died at work), Ex-CAPFs & AR Personnel (who became disabled at work) & retired personnel (below officer rank)
  • The candidate must be pursuing degree courses like medicine, engineering, veterinary, BBA, BSc, Dental, BCA, MBA, MCA, etc.
  • Also, the candidate must have completed their qualifying examination (class 12th, diploma or graduation) with at least 60% marks.

This scholarship is launched for the dependent widow & wards of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) & Assam Rifles (AR) Personnel. Those who have lost their lives whilst serving the public, government or wards of ex- CAPFs & ARs. Also, those who have been a recipient of gallantry awards or wards of serving & retired CAPFs & ARs. The primary aim of launching this DHE Assam Scholarship Scheme was to motivate them to pursue professional, technical education. Along with it, they were given the Assam Government Scholarship worth INR 2250 PEr Month for female scholars. Moreover, it was 2000 Per Month For Male Scholars

Means Cum Merit Scholarship, Assam 2025

This scholarship was launched for the students of Assam Domicile. Those who are pursuing a graduate-level degree course in Arts, Science or Commerce Discipline from a government or provincialized colleges of Assam. The primary objective of the scholarship for Assam students is to provide one-time assistance to the poor yet meritorious students of the Assam State. This is done so that they can pursue higher education. Subsequently, the selected students are further provided with the Assam Minority Scholarship worth INR 1000 Per Month.

National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) 2025

This Scholarship for Assam Students was launched in order to nurture & identify the talented students of class 10. Thereafter, providing them with suitable financial support, so that they can pursue studies at various stages. Furthermore, NTSE is a two-level examination. The candidates further get cash rewards of up to INR 2000. The cash is provided to 1000 students. It is done after they qualify both the levels of examination, which includes both the state & national level.
