JKCET Counselling 2025: Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) is the organizing body of the JKCET Counselling 2025. Applicants who qualify for the exam and have their names placed on the merit list will thus, be called to take part in the counselling. Moreover, it is the final round of the complete admission process which will be conducted in online mode.

However, aspirants can practice the mock choice filling so as to become familiar with the process. After filling the choices, the concerned authority will certainly allot seats to applicants. The allotment of seat particularly depends upon various factors. Furthermore, students have to pay Rs 1200 as a counseling fee via online mode only. Lastly, after the seats will be allotted, applicants have to physically report at the allotted centre for verification of documents.

The Procedure Of JKCET Counselling 2025
The qualified candidates will be able to participate in the counselling of Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test 2025. The counselling round involves a number of steps. Candidates must follow each of the steps otherwise it may lead to cancellation of their candidature.
All the steps are elaborated below:
Step 1 – Online Registration
The first and foremost step that aspirants need to do is to register online. For registration they have to provide some of the basic details which include the following things:
- Application number
- Marks
- Rank
- Roll number
- Date of birth
- Category
- Email id
- Contact number
After submitting all the above details the authority will generate a password. Hence, candidates must preserve these credentials until the completion of the counselling process.
Step 2 – Filling of Choices
In this step, the successfully registered applicants have to fill the choices of the course and institution according to their preference. These choices must be in the order of priority. Moreover, before filling the actual choices, candidates can also take part in the mock choice filling so as to become familiar with the process.
Step 3 – Locking of Filled Choices
Candidates have to lock the filled choices once they have filled them. Locking of the choice is necessary. However, if any individual fails to do so then the concerned authority will automatically lock their previously filled choices
Step 4 – Payment of Counselling Fee
After locking of choices, applicants need to pay the counselling fee of Rs. 1200. The payment has to be made via online mode through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card.
Step 5 – Allotment of Seats
Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) will allot seats to eligible candidates. This seat allotment will depend upon various factors such as choices filled, rank secured, category of the candidate and availability of seats. Aspirants will be allotted a seat in online mode only.
Step 6 – Verification of Documents
Candidates who will be allotted a seat have to further report at the specified venue for verification of documents at scheduled date and time. If an individual fails to do so then his or her seat will be given other deserving applicant. While reporting, candidates have to carry all the relevant documents along with themselves.

Candidates have to carry their original documents as well as photocopies for verification. The list consists of the following documents:
- Class 10th Mark Sheet
- Class 12th Mark Sheet
- Passing Certificate of both class 10th & 12th
- Domicile Certificate
- Proof of Date of Birth
- Category Certificate
- Score Card of Qualifying Exam
- Printout of JKCET Application Form 2025.
- Roll number of Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test 2025.
JKCET 2025 Seat Reservation
