After the WBJEE results have been announced, the WBJEE 2019 counselling will begin. The WBJEE counselling 2019 will be conducted in the online mode. Notification regarding the same will be published on the official website of WBJEE Board. On the basis of the merit list, the students shall be called for the WBJEE Counselling 2019. The WBJEE e-counselling will begin in the 2nd week of June 2019. West Bengal JEE Board will release a notification regarding the WBJEE 2019 counselling procedure and seat allotment.
Qualified candidates will be called for WBJEE e-counselling. The WBJEE 2019 counselling notification will be released in the online mode on the official website of WBJEEB. Those who are listed on the merit list will be called for WBJEE 2019 counselling. The admission will be completely based on the GMR and 10% of seats will be filled through JEE Main rank. Document verifications are done during WBJEE 2019 counselling and subsequent admission and registration will be done with the university.

WBJEE 2019 Counselling
All candidates listed under the Merit list will be called for WBJEE 2019 counselling. However, being listed under merit list does not imply that the candidate will be granted admission in his/her desired college. It is the college that will decide whether the applicant will be allotted a seat or not. Candidates must note down the WBJEE 2019 counselling schedule and participate in e-counselling as it will be held only once. The course wise eligibility and seat matrix will be published online before the WBJEE counselling 2019 has begun.
WBJEE 2019 Counselling Procedure
Step 1: WBJEE 2019 Counselling Online Registration
The first and foremost step to participate in the WBJEE Counselling 2019 is to get registered. The qualified candidates must register themselves by visiting the official website or clicking on the registration link provided here. Candidates have to register with their WBJEE 2019 roll number, name, date of birth and application number.
Step 2: Fee Payment
After registering successfully, candidates are required to pay the WBJEE 2019 counselling fees of Rs. 500. Applicants need to download the e-challan by visiting the official website and deposit the fee either through E-challan of Allahabad Bank or through debit/credit card or even net banking. After this, he/she will have to enter the e-challan payment details by logging in the official website after which the identity code and password will be generated.
Step 3: Choice Filling and Locking
In this step, candidates will have to select the streams and institutes as per their preference. Candidates have to fill as many choices as they want and lock their choices. Choice filling and locking will be allowed only once. Candidate cannot make any changes in the order of preference of college and streams afterwards.
Step 4: WBJEE 2019 Seat allotment
The seat allotment result is released for the qualified candidates based on the candidate’s rank, preference and availability of seats. Candidates will be allotted a seat in the participating institutions as per their merit and the choice of courses and institutes opted by them. In order to find out the seat allotted to him/her, students need to login by using their credentials to check their allotment.
Step 5: Document Verification
Candidates, if satisfied with the allotted institute, they must freeze their seat as this reflects that the candidate doesn’t want for up-gradation of the institute. The candidates will have to verify their documents and pay the prescribed fee at the reporting centres.
Step 6: Reporting at the Allotted Institute
After the WBJEE e-counselling has been conducted, candidates will be required to report to the allotted institute with the necessary documents. If the candidates are satisfied with the seats allotted, they must confirm their admission by carrying a set of both original as well copy of documents and report to the institute.
