Important Dates for UPESEAT 2018
The official examination authority of UPES has declared the date of activities related to application form and admit card. The UPES Exam dates 2018 has been provided in the table below. However, the tentative dates for the rest of the activities are given in the table below:

Counselling of UPESEAT 2018
The UPES B. Tech Counselling 2018 has begun from 31st May and will be in process till 3rd June 2018.
Total three rounds of counselling will take place. Two rounds of counselling will be conducted based on JEE Main rank and class 12 Merit. The third and the last round will be conducted based on UPESEAT 2018 Rank. The counselling for 2018 is scheduled to start from today i.e 31st May 2018. Candidates, if wish, can change the course (selected during application form filling) at the time of counselling.
UPES will grant admissions up to 80% of the total seats on the basis of UPESEAT 2018 rank and the remaining 20% of the seats will be filled on the basis of the class 12 board merit. Counselling of UPESEAT is likely to be conducted in the cities Dehradun, Lucknow, Patna and Delhi. Shortlisted candidates have to attend the counselling in person at the scheduled venue on the allotted day and time. Candidates have to produce/submit all the necessary required documents for verification at the time of counselling.
The result of UPESEAT 2018 have been declared online. Candidates must visit the official UPSES portal website regularly for updates related to result. Candidates who attended the exam in online and offline mode could view and download the result online. No hard copy of result was sent to the candidates by post. Applicants could access the result by entering their application number, password and mobile number.

Steps by Step guide to Apply for UPESEAT 2018 via Online mode
Aspirants can apply for the engineering aptitude test for the year 2018 in both offline and online mode. Applicants are instructed to go through the eligibility criteria once before filling up the application form. Steps to apply for both in both offline and online mode for UPESEAT 2018 is provided below:
- Visit the official website of UPES https://www.upes.ac.in
- Click on “Admission 2018 Apply Now”.
- Click on “Register Now with UPES” option.
- Enter the required details and click on “submit” option.
- Now, log in again by entering the email ID and password (generated during registration).
- Fill in the application form.

- Candidates can collect UPES Prospectus & Application form by sending a demand draft of Rs. 1850 in favour of “UPES Fee Account”, payable at New Delhi / Dehradun along with request letter or by making cash payment from admission counters of UPES at Chandigarh/ Delhi / Dehradun / Kolkata / Mumbai.
- Fill up the application form carefully and paste the recent passport size photograph. Enclose the documents mentioned in the prospectus and post it.
- Candidates can find their application number online at the official website of UPES after few days of posting the application form.

UPESEAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria
The aspirants must go through the UPES Admission criteria if they are seeking admission to UPES. 80% of the total seats are filled via UPESEAT and rest 20% via JEE Main Rank and Board merit. Applicants if posses any one of the below-mentioned conditions, then they can apply for direct admission into UPES. They do not have to attend the UPESEAT 2018 Exam. However, they only have to fill up the application form.

Syllabus for UPESEAT 2018
The syllabus for UPESEAT 2018 is same as that of JEE Main Exam. The applicants must develop a strong base in the topics under the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of class 11 and 12 respectively. Candidates must practice English language comprehension from different books and read the current affairs as the UPESEAT question paper contain topics from this section. Applicants are also advised to solve the previous year question paper and give the mock test as many as possible.
UPESEAT 2018 Admit Card
The UPESEAT 2018 Admit Card was released online at the official website of UPES. The candidates who had registered whether in online or offline mode had to download the admit card online by entering the application number, date of birth and email ID. The UPES admit card download link will be provided here as soon as it is released. The mode of examination and UPESEAT exam centers opted during application form filling will be mentioned on the admit card along with the other details. Applicants must download and take the printout of the same and carry it on the exam day to the examination hall.
UPESEAT Exam Centers 2018
Applicants need to select two of the below-mentioned exam centre while filling up the application form according to their suitability. UPES Engineering Aptitude Test 2018 will be conducted across 50 different cities in India. The exam city selected will be mentioned on the admit card based on their preference. Candidates must select the exam centre carefully while filling up the application form because once the form is submitted, the exam centre selected cannot be modified later on.
Answer Key of UPESEAT 2018
The answer key for UPESEAT 2018 will contain the correct response to questions asked in the Engineering Aptitude Test. Merit List of UPESEAT 2018
The merit list for UPESEAT 2018 will release in the last week of May 2018. Generally, merit list publishes after the cut-off mark declaration. The merit list contains the names of the candidates eligible for counselling. It displays overall rank and category-wise rank of all the candidates based on the marks obtained in the entrance examination. Candidates can check merit list for UPESEAT of 2018 online at the official website by entering the application number, registered mobile number and roll number. On the basis of merit rank and course opted, candidates will be allotted seats in the college.
Seat Allotment of UPESEAT 2018
All the shortlisted candidates will be allotted seats based on their rank and choice of course. Candidates who have been allotted seats, they must report to the Institute and also have to pay the academic fee in order to confirm their seats. They should not wait until the last minute and visit the allotted Institute in person within stipulated date and time.
