TS EAMCET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University (JNTU) Hyderabad has set forth certain guidelines for candidates to maintain a minimum standard among the student resource. Candidates, who will be applying and appearing for the TS EAMCET examination, will have to clear these TS EAMCET Eligibility Criteria. If any candidate fails to clear the eligibility criteria, then he/ she will be liable for rejection. Criteria are:

Qualifying SubjectsMathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh, along with bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled from academic year 2000 onwards, or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana/ Andhra Pradesh.
Age Requirements
  • In the case of Engineering, Pharmacy courses, candidates should have completed 16 years of age by the date of commencement of admissions or on such other date as may be notified by the common entrance test committee.
  • There is no upper age limit.
  •  In the case of B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech. (FT) and B.Sc. (CA & BM), candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates as on 31st December of the year of Admissions.

TS EAMCET 2020 Application Form

Candidates, who clear the Eligibility Criteria laid down above, can proceed to the TS EAMCET 2020 Application Form submission. Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University (JNTU) Hyderabad has released the TS EAMCET Application Form 2020 on 21st February 2020. Candidates can fill the application Forms in an online mode only. In order to fill the form, candidates have to register themselves by visiting the official website of TS EAMCET.

Candidates will have to note that the Convener of TS EAMCET 2020 holds the right to reject the application of the candidate at any stage.

  • The Online Application Form is incomplete.
  • The candidate fails to satisfy the eligibility conditions.
  • Any false or incorrect information is furnished.
  • The Online Application Form is submitted after the due date.
  • The Convener is not responsible for non-receipt of the application by the notified date and time for any reason

The TS EAMCET 2020 Registration procedure is as given below.

1. Make the Application Fee payment

First, candidates will have to visit the website. A candidate has to pay INR 800 (INR 400 for SC/ ST candidates only) Registration Fee and late fee (if applicable) by opting any of the following two modes of payment:

  • TS (AP)
  • Debit/ Credit Card and after payment candidate will receive SMS to the register Mobile and Email about the receipt of Amount. Use the Payment Reference Number for filling the data.

2. Update the Application Form and Upload Images

After filling the TS EAMCET Online Application Form with the required details, the candidate is required to verify all the details carefully and press the Submit button. Filled in Online Application Form will be generated which contains Registration Number along with filled in details. The candidate is required to take the printout of Filled In Online Application Form and it is to be submitted to the Invigilator during the examination after affixing a recent color photograph duly attested by the Gazetted Officer or Principal of the College where studied qualifying examination. The candidate should use the Registration Number for future correspondence.

Also, upload a recent passport size photograph and signature. The images should be in sync with the official guidelines.

3. Print the Confirmation Page

Finally, after the application form has been filled and submitted, the candidate can take a print of the confirmation page generated by the authorities. This document can be used for future verification.

TS EAMCET 2020 Application Correction Facility

Candidates will have a one-time opportunity of making corrections in the submitted application form. The Application Form Correction Facility window opened on 11th June 2020.  Candidates will have to log in to the registered account by entering the registration number/ application number and password. From the registered account, candidates will be able to make relevant changes.

TS EAMCET 2020 Exam Centres

During the online submission of the TS EAMCET 2020 Application form, the candidate is hereby informed to select the required Test Zone of his choice. Once chosen, request for change of Test Zone will not be entertained later. Moreover, the Convener reserves the right to add or delete some Test Centres from the list of Test Zones notified. TS EAMCET 2020 Admit Card

Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University (JNTU) Hyderabad will release the TS EAMCET Admit Card 2020 for the candidates who will successfully enroll themselves for the TS EAMCET 2020 Exam. The TS EAMCET Hall Ticket 2020 will be the admission ticket for the candidates to get access inside the examination hall during the exam. Admit Cards are important documents and candidates must make sure they bring it to the examination venue along with an identity proof such as Aadhaar Card or Voter card.

TS EAMCET 2020 Answer Key

Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) date has been announced. After the conclusion of the exam, the authorities, i.e. JNT University Hyderabad will release the TS EAMCET Answer Key 2020 for the candidates. The Answer Key will include all the correct answers against the questions asked in the Common Entrance Test. This will also help candidates to estimate their probable score.

Provisional Answer Key Challenge

First, a provisional Answer Key will be released which the candidate can use to calculate their scores. Moreover, if the candidates want to challenge the authenticity of the answers, then he/ she may do so within a given time frame.

Aspirants who have a problem with any of the answer key given in the provisional answer key can challenge the same by raising objections in the online mode in the prescribed format as released by JNTU. The concerned candidate will be required to pay INR 500 (for general) and INR 200 (for SC/ ST) to raise a challenge against the answer key.

TS EAMCET 2020 Result

Candidates can check their TS EAMCET Result 2020 from the official website of EAMCET. The results will be declared by the authorities after analyzing all the answer key challenges given by the candidates. The results can be accessed by the candidate through the official website by logging in to the registered account.

The concerned authority will issue the rank card separately for each candidate who has taken the TS EAMCET 2020. Candidates need to go to the official website of TSCHE and download the rank card. The ranking of the candidate is based on TS EAMCET normalized marks (75% weightage) and 10+2 standard marks (25% weightage).

Normalization of Question Paper

Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will incorporate the Normalization Procedure. This is so because of the fact that the TS EAMCET 2020 will be conducted in various sessions and shifts based on the same syllabus and same pattern. However, some sessions will have relatively easier question papers than the others and this will affect the chances of the candidate who attempted the tougher session. Moreover, the main aim of the Normalization is to ensure that no student gets an advantage/ disadvantage due to multiple sessions. Tie Break Scenario

For the preparation of merit list, in case of more than one student securing the same combined score obtained as mentioned above, the tie shall be resolved to decide the relative ranking by successively considering the following:

  • Firstly, the total Normalized marks secured in TSEAMCET
  • Secondly, the normalized Marks secured in Mathematics in TSEAMCET
  • Thirdly, the normalized marks secured in Physics in TSEAMCET
  • Fourthly, the Percentage of Aggregate marks secured in the qualifying examination
  • Lastly, if the tie still persists the date of birth of the concerned candidates, the older being given preference over the younger.

TS EAMCET 2020 Counselling

Candidates who clear the minimum required qualifying marks will be considered for the preparation of the TS EAMCET Merit List. The merit list/ rank list will become the basis for the TS EAMCET Counselling 2020. Moreover, candidates will be allotted seats through counselling on the basis of the merit list. Candidates, in order to seek admission, will have to get registered from the official website. After registering, candidates will have to attend the counselling session in person. The call letter will be generated once the candidate registers.
