Ranchi University B.A LLB Admission Process

Ranchi University Admission Process and Eligibility (Course-Wise)

The admission process at the University of Ranchi is different for each and every program. Admission to the Programs such as B.A/B.Sc/B.Com is done on the basis of 10th and 12th marks. Whereas, for B.Tech/MBA/MBBS Courses, admission is done on the basis of JEE Main, CAT/MAT/ NEET Marks. The University of Ranchi MBBS, BDS, and Nursing Admission

• For Ranchi University MBBS/BDS Admission 2025, candidates must qualify NEET 2025. Also, the students must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• The selection for MBBS and BDS Admission is done on the basis of NEET Scores and State Counselling.
• Ranchi University B.Sc Nursing Admission will take place on the basis of Merit Scores.
• However, for Post-Basic Nursing Admission, the applicants must have passed IA/ISC/ICom with Diploma in GNM Nursing.

Ranchi University MD and MS Admission 2025

• The MD and MS are the specialization courses (2 years).
• Candidates must have passed NEET MBBS with 1 year of mandatory internship. However, the selection of the candidates takes place on the basis of NEET PG 2025 Scores.

Ranchi University UG Course Admission – B.A/B.Sc/B.Com/B.Tech

• The University offers B.Tech Course in various specialization and B.A/B.Sc/B.Com (General and Honours).
• Candidates who are willing to get admission in B.Tech must have passed 12th with 45% marks in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. The selection of the candidates is done on the basis of JCECE, JEE Main Score, or Direct Admission.
• Admission in B.A/B. A (Hons), B.Com (Hons.), and B.Sc (Hons) is done on a Merit basis. However, candidates must have passed 12th in the science/ commerce stream (B.Com).
• Ranchi University B.Ed Admission is done through an Entrance Test conducted by the University.
• Admission to LLB Course Program is done through Merit Scores.

Ranchi University PG Admission – M.Tech, M.Com, M.A, MSc. MCom Courses

• For admission to M.Tech, candidates must have completed B.Tech. The selection of the candidates takes place on the basis of GATE Scores
• Ranchi University, MSc Admission takes place on a merit basis (B.Sc and B.Sc Hons.)
• For MBA Admission, candidates must have passed graduation with 50% qualifying marks along with a valid score in CAT/MAT/CMAT or ATMA+ Past Academic Record+ Relevant Work Experience+GDPI.
• For M.Com Admission, candidates must have passed B.Com/B.Com (Hons). However, the selection process takes place on the basis of Merit-Score.
• Lastly, for admission to M.A/M.Sc Courses, candidates must have passed B.A/B.A (Hons).

• Candidates must have a Master’s Degree (M.Sc/M.A/M.Com) in the related discipline.
• The minimum qualifying marks is 55%. No reservations are offered.
• The Selection of the candidates takes place on the basis of an entrance test followed by counselling.
• For Ph.D. Admission, candidates must have passed M.Phil in the relevant field.

• The University also offers vocational courses such as M.Sc, PGDMP, and PGDBT.
• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subjects. However, the selection process will take place on the basis of CET Scores (Centralized Entrance Test).

Ranchi University also offers Certificate, Diploma Certificate, and Advanced Diploma Certificate in various courses such as Yoga, Insurance, Computer Application, Business Management, etc.

Candidates who want to get admission to the Ranchi University UG/PG/BEd Courses will have to fill Ranchi University Admission Form. However, the candidates must satisfy the eligibility conditions. The mode of submitting the application form is Offline and different for each course program.

• Click on the admission form for UG/PG Students.
• Download the application form and sign the declaration.
• Submit the form with relevant documents.
• For making the payment, the applicant has to get a crossed DD made of the relevant fee amount and submit it with the necessary documents.

Ranchi University MBA Admission Form

• For MBA Admission at Ranchi University, Jharkhand, candidates have to submit Online Supplementary Application Form (OSAF)
• Candidates can get the OSAF Copy and other documents from Ranchi University.
• Download the application form, and make the payment of the form fees (Rs 500) in the form of an A/C Payee DD in favour of the “Vocational A-1 MBA Course, payable at Ranchi.

Ranchi M.Phil and PhD. Application Form

• Visit the official website of the University and download the application form.
• Fill in the form with the correct details.
• Now attach the self-attested photocopies of the final year mark sheet and other documents.
• Pay the registration fee amount in DD Format, in favour of Registrar, Ranchi University.
• The application fee amount is Rs 1200/- (general category), and Rs 600/- (ST/SC Candidates).
• Lastly, submit the application form to the office of Controller of Examinations, RU, Ranchi.

Ranchi University Vocational Courses Registration Form

• Applicants have to visit the Department of Botany, Ranchi University and obtain the application form.
• Pay the application form fee, Rs 800 in the form of DD drawn in favour of “Vocation A-1, Biotech”, Ranchi University.
• Make sure that you write your Name and Course name on the back of DD.

Ranchi University Semester Examination Schedule

The University conducts two exams per year. One is the Odd Semester (Winter Semester) and the other is the Even Semester (Summer Semester). Every year, the candidate has to appear in both exams. The Ranchi University Odd Semester Exam will take place in the month of December/January. Whereas, the Summer Semester Exam will take place in the month of June. The University will release the Ranchi University Exam Time Table 2020 a month before the date of the semester exams.

• Firstly, to appear for the semester exam, the candidate has to enrol themselves by paying a requisite fee amount. Then, submit the form to the University. The complete process takes place online.
• Then the University releases the RU Semester Examination Routine along with the Hall Ticket.
• Then, after the completion of the RU Semester Exams, the university will release the exam result.

Ranchi University Admit Card (Semester/ Entrance Test)

The University of Ranchi, Jharkhand will release the admit card just a week before the date of the exam. The Ranchi University Hall Ticket will release in online soon after the submission of the form. However, to download the Admit card, candidates have to submit their registration number/roll number.

The RU Admit Card 2025 will carry all the details of the examination and the applicant. Also, carrying the Admit Card is mandatory. No, the applicant will be allowed to appear for the exam without the hall ticket.

Ranchi University Merit/Rank List is released for the admission process. As the University does not conduct any Entrance Exam for the UG Courses. Therefore on the basis of the 10+2 marks, and other entrance exam cutoff scores, the University releases the merit list.

The Merit list of Ranchi University will comprise the qualification status of the candidates. The shortlisted candidates will have to then attend the further admission process.

Ranchi University Result 2025

The university releases the semester exam result for the candidates online. To declare the Ranchi University Semester Exam Result, it takes at least one to two months. Candidates can check their results by submitting their Registration/Roll number.

RU University, Jharkhand – Counselling and Document Verification

Now, candidates whose name is on the Admission Merit List will be eligible for the Ranchi Counselling Process. Candidates have to report to the college along with the documents. This is the last stage of Ranchi University Admission 2025.
