NIOS Exam Fee 2020: National Institute of Open Schooling gives space to students who want to give the open board. It means that they can write the board exam without attending school. NIOS comes under Union Government just like other education Boards like CBSE and ICSE. It is opened for both the Indian students as well as overseas students. NIOS conducts the exam twice a year. 1st exam slot is held in April-May and 2nd slot in Oct-Nov. Thousands of students enroll for the exam every year. The main motive is to increase literacy among the people and to increase the education sector.

In order to sit for the exam, candidates have to go through the admission procedure. The exam fee is to be paid by the candidates in order to sit for the exam. Without the submission of the exam fee, no one would be able to sit for the exam. There is no official announcement by NIOS regarding the exam for the session 2020-21. However, it is compulsory to pay the exam fee. If not then there will be no further process.

NIOS Exam Fee For session 2020-21

Since the exam is held twice, thus as per the requirement, the exam fee is also paid twice. There is no notification as to how much the students have to pay the exam for the session 2020-21. Candidates must follow the instruction given by the Board. They must also look for the dates and fees when the actual procedure is in process. Don’t seek the exact information without the official announcement.

Those who will give exam in April-May will have to submit the exam fee from Nov 2020 to January 2021. On the other hand, Oct-Nov exam slot has to pay from May 2021 To July 2021. NO exam date is given for the submission of the fee.

How to Pay Form Fee

In order to pay the fee, one has to follow a certain procedure. The payment is done online through debit/credit/net banking.

  • Visit the official site of NIOS
  • Look for the link which shows the “Registration button” and click on it
  • Press on already registered and enter the 12 digit enrollment no.
  • The payment option will be available
  • Thus enter the required details and one can be done with the payment. Ae-receipt will appear on the screen. Take the print of the e-receipt for further reference.

Once done with the payment, confirmation alert will be sent through SMS and email on the valid contact details provided by the candidates.

Importance of Exam Fee

  • Paying the exam fee on time escapes the students to pay extra money.
  • Submission of exam fee means that the student is eligible to write the exam.
  • It also means the successful completion of the exam process i.e to write the exam.
