Scholarship For Manipur Eligibility Criteria 2025

The candidates must check the Manipur Fellowship eligibility criteria before applying for the Manipur Fellowship. However, since the Government of Manipur provides various fellowships to its students. Therefore, eligibility conditions also differ accordingly. However, one condition which remains true for all the Manipur Fellowship is that the candidate must have a domicile of the Manipur state.   • In order to apply for this scholarship, the candidate must be pursuing a technical or a professional course diploma, degree, postgraduate, Mphil or Ph.D. level.
  • Also, the candidate must have secured at least 70% marks or above (for general & OBC candidates). However, the students belonging to the SC/ST/PH category must have secured at least 60% marks or above in the qualifying examination.
  • Furthermore, the annual income of the candidate’s family must not exceed INR 4.5 Lakh per annum from all sources.

Manipur Scholarship Amount/Rewards 2025

The selected students who successfully registered will be provided with the Manipur Fellowship amount. However, the scholarship reward differs from scholarship to scholarship based on the candidate’s academic qualification & financial need. Furthermore, each Manipur Fellowship provides the student’s financial assistance via the DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer), wherein the scholarship amount is directly credited to the candidate’s bank account. In order to apply for this fellowship, the student must belong to the backward class of the state of Manipur. Also, they must be pursuing education post class 10th either within or outside Manipur from a recognized & affiliated institute, college or university. Only the students who fulfill the above-mentioned conditions will be called for application under this scholarship scheme. The Directorate Of Minorities & Other Backward Classes, Government Of Manipur, if the official authority that offers this scholarship. Furthermore, the scholarship amount keeps on varying each year. It reaches up to INR 12,000 P.A.

Pre Matric Scholarship Scheme For OBC, Manipur 2025

In order to apply for this fellowship, the candidates must belong to the other backward classes OBC of the state of Manipur. Also, they must be studying in class 1 to 10th from a recognized & affiliated institute, college, or university in or outside Manipur. Furthermore, this scholarship scheme covers admission fees, tuition fees & maintenance allowance. However, the scholarship amount may keep on varying with each academic year.

Pre Matric Scholarship For ST Students, Manipur 2025

In order to apply for this fellowship, the candidate must be a resident of Manipur. They must also belong to the SC Category. Furthermore, they must be studying in class 9 & 10 at a government or a government recognized institution. The primary aim of this scholarship is to reduce the dropout rate prevalent among the students studying between elementary to the secondary stage of education. Subsequently, the selected students will be disbursed the scholarship benefits & amount.

Post- Matric Scholarship For ST Students, Manipur 2025

In order to apply for this scholarship, the candidate must be an ST category student. Also, they must be studying at post-matriculation or post-secondary level (class 11th & above). Furthermore, the selected students will receive a monthly scholarship, maintenance allowance, reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees, study tour charges, thesis typing & printing charges & various other benefits.
