No notification has been released by the university regarding the application form and admission procedure. However looking at the previous year procedure, tentative dates are taken. The following table shows the dates:

No exact date is there as when the application process will start. The entrance exam for different courses will be held differently.

Mangalore University Eligibility 2020

In order to fill the application form, students have to fulfill certain eligibility criteria. If a student does not fulfill that requirement then they won’t be able to fill the form. Thus the basic requirement for the P.G courses that students must have completed 10+2+3 pattern of study. Another requirement is graduation in respective subject with minimum 45% marks. However, 40% is required for the reserved category.

Final year graduation students can also apply. They have to submit their graduation certificate at the time of admission. Admission in MBA courses required 50% of marks for general category and 45% for reserved category.

Important points:

  • 5 seats are reserved for overseas students
  • Each program reserved one seat for the ward of defense personnel, one for NSS, NCC, and Sportsperson, one for physically handicapped, one seat for the children of Kashmiri Migrants.
  • Government of Karnataka and UGC, reserved 3% seats for physically handicapped candidates, 8% for the students of Hyderabad Karnataka region, and 1% seat for the third gender, and 15% seat for the students of other universities.

Mangalore University- Application Form 2020

Students can apply for the university in an online and offline mode. The application form of Mangalore University 2020 is available in both the mode. As per their convenience, they can choose the mode of applying to the university. University provides a large section of courses to the students around the nation. There is a seat percentage which is fixed for the state, outsiders, foreigners. Candidates who are eligible to apply for the university should fill the application form within the time given to them. Mangalore University Exam Pattern 2020

After the entrance exam students wait for the result which is the most important event. University will mention the Result 2020 on its official website. However tentatively it may come out in the month of July/August 2020. It will announce the result on the official website of the university. Mangalore University Merit 2020

University will announce the merit list 2020 once the result is out. University prepares the merit list on the basis of the subject and performance of students. While having a merit list, the university keeps reservation policy into the mind. Thus Mangalore University prepares the list as per the performance and category of the students. Merit list 2020 is expected to come in the month of July/August. University will present the merit list in the pdf format to the students at the university’ website.

Mangalore University Counseling 2020

Once the merit list is out, selected students are called for counseling. This is the final procedure of the admission process. Candidates have to confirm their merit rank and counseling date from the university website. As per the merit rank, the student will get the course. It may happen that they may get the subject as per their choice and may not. It depends on the rank which is based out of the merit list.

Documents required during counseling of Mangalore University 2020 are:

  • Original and photocopy of Admit card
  • Original and photocopy of counseling letter
  • All the original and at least 2 photocopies of certificates of 10th & 12th class
  • Hall Ticket
  • Candidates have to make the Bank draft  as prescribe by MANGALORE UNIVERSITY prospect
  • Scorecard (if applicable)
  • Community certificate for the reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/Other) signed by the authorized authority
  • If the candidate is appearing then they must have an original degree/provisional certificate
  • 4-6 Passport size photographs color and black and white

Mangalore University Counseling Centre 2020

Mangalore University takes counseling in four centers. So they must choose the center as per their preference. Students must visit the counseling center before the actual counseling start. This is mainly to avoid the inconvenience on the day of counseling.
