Check Eligibility For KCET Exam

The Result of Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) has been released by the exam conducting body on 25th May 2019. Candidates will be required to download the scorecard by entering their KCET registration number. The Result of each candidate will carry the score obtained in each subject and the overall score obtained by the candidate. Candidate must not forget to take a print out of the scorecard for future references.

How to check the KCET Result 2019?

Candidates can follow the steps given below to view and download their KCET Result.

  • Go to the official website of KCET: kea.kar.nic.in or click on the link available below.
  • Enter your registration number and click on the submit button.

  • Your KCET Result will be displayed on your screen.
  • Download and take a print out of the same.

Details on KCET 2019 Scorecard

The KCET result of the candidate will carry the following details.

  • Subject wise score
  • Total score obtained by the candidate.
  • Rank of the candidate.

Please note that the candidate who belongs to CBSE/ CISE/ Repeaters/ Outside Karnataka category will be required to submit their 10+2 qualifying marks. The link to submit the qualifying marks will be provided here as soon as it made available. Candidates failing to upload their class 12th/ 10+2 qualifying exam will not be listed in the merit list for admissions.

How to Challenge the KCET Result Sheet?

  • Challenge the result by raising the objections within 3 days of the announcement of KCET result. The Result of these candidates will be released later.
  • Objections can only be raised against the qualifying marks on the KCET result sheet. The candidate cannot raise objections against the marks scored in the KCET 2019.
  • Objections can be raised only on qualifying examination marks, missing rank on KCET Result sheet and/or version code of KCET question paper incorrectly marked.
  • To challenge the result sheet, cross verify the qualifying examination marks and if there is any discrepancy contact the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) and get the ranks rectified.
  • The candidate, whose result will be withheld against the want of qualifying examination marks, must submit a photocopy of his/her marks card of the qualifying examination via speed post or in person.

KCET 2019 Rank List/Merit List 

The Merit List of KCET 2019 will be prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics KCET 2019 along with the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics marks in qualifying examination in the ratio of 50:50. The ranks will be allotted to each candidate on the basis of the Merit list. A separate list of candidates who have opted for engineering will be released by KEA. Ranks will also be allotted to those candidates whose Result are withheld for the want of qualifying marks.
