About the Institute
The Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai abbreviated as IIT Bhilai is a public institute which is located in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, India. It is established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, and is among the 6 new IITs. IIT Bhilai is mentored by IIT Hyderabad. The institute initially started working from its temporary campus which is Government Engineering College Raipur. The Government of Chhattisgarh has allotted 445 acres of land for the development of the permanent campus of IIT Bhilai.
IIT Bhilai admits applicants in various Under Graduate and Post Graduate programs. The UG program includes a 4-year B.Tech course and the PG program includes 2-year M.SC and M.Tech courses. Apart from these courses, the institute also provides admission to Ph.D. degree programs. Moreover, around 126 seats are available in the institute for accepting candidates under various courses offered for admission.
Admission Process of IIT Bhilai
