IIIT Hyderabad Application Form 2025
The dates for the online availability of the IIIT Hyderabad B.Tech 2025 application form differs for all channels. The application form for UGEE will release on the official website of IIIT Hyderabad. The given steps shall be followed for the submission of the Application form.
- Registration: The candidates have to register themselves for the process of IIIT Hyderabad B.Tech Admission 2025. Candidates were to submit their name, valid email ID, and mobile number for the registration. A verification link will be sent to the candidate on their registered email ID. Candidates have to click on the link to complete the application process.
- Filling the Application form: The information asked in this section will be depending on the mode of admission as selected by the candidate. However, the candidate should make sure of providing valid information and corresponding to the documents possessed by the candidate.
- Payment of Application Fee: The payment will be done through online mode. Candidates can opt for Debit Card/Credit Card/Net banking. The application fee for B.Tech admissions is given below:

Submission of the Application Form: Submission of the Application form will be accepted only after the payment of the Application fee. Payment of the Application fee of Rs.6000 will be done online while submitting the online Application Form. The absence of fee payment in any case by the student will lead to the rejection of the application form.
Application Form of DASA
IIIT Hyderabad also announces the start of the application form for B.Tech admissions through DASA (Direct Admission for Students Abroad). The online application form will be available on the official website www.iiit.ac.in. The submission of the application form after the due date will not be accepted.
IIIT Hyderabad B.Tech Eligibility Conditions
The eligibility conditions for admission to the IIIT Hyderabad B.Tech program will differ on the basis of the entrance channel through which the candidate will be applying. Candidates will be required to go through the eligibility conditions thoroughly as any form of misleading information will lead to the cancellation of the admission. The candidates will have to fulfill the eligibility requirements through JEE MAIN, Olympiad, UGEE- CLD/NK/MTSE and DASA. SPEC MODE: A Special Channel of Admission (SCA) was introduced from the academic year of 2019 for single degree B.Tech. (ECE/CSE) Programs. This aims at identifying students with extraordinary talent.
Eligibility for SPEC-
- 12th class or equivalent with Maths, Physics, and Chemistry
- or any one of the following
- 2. Students who qualified for the UDAAN scheme of CBSE
- 3. Students in integrated six-year 12th+ B.tech. Program after 10th.
Selection Criteria for SPEC-
- Qualifying candidates have to appear for the Written Test.
- Shortlisted candidates based on the performance in the written test will be called for interview.
- The final selection is based on the overall performance of the candidate.
JEE (Main) Mode: JEE MAIN score will be limited to the admission to single degree programs only for B.Tech. in Electronic and communicating Engineering (ECE) and B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE).
DASA Mode: Admissions through Direct Admission for Students Abroad will continue as announced by the University.
UGEE Mode: Admissions through UGEE mode will be to all research-based dual degree program. Admission will be based on an entrance examination followed by an interview.
Applicants who represented India at one of the four Olympiads (Internation Olympiad on Informatics (IOI)/Science Olympiad (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Astronomy)/Mathematics Olympiad/International Linguistics Olympiad (IOL)/Paninian Linguistics Olympiad (POL) can apply for UGEE and will be called directly for an Interview. They do not have to write the UGEE Entrance examination.
IIIT Hyderabad 2025 UGEE Admit Card
The entrance exam for admission through UGEE mode will take place in June 2025. Admit card is a mandatory document to carry the exam along with an original photo ID. Candidates will have to go through the instructions mentioned on the Admit card in detail as it will also carry all the required information like date of the exam, the course for which candidate is appearing for in the exam, address of the examination centre and other relevant details.
Entrance Exam Pattern For IIIT-H UGEE
Below mentioned points will help in the understanding of the pattern. The exam will have three parts: Part 1 (Math and Logical reasoning), Part 2 (Aptitude) and Part 3 (Essays).
- Questions in part 1 can be objective as well as subjective
- Questions in part 2 include questions on aptitude for analyzing language data.
- In part 3, candidates have to write essays on any given topic. The evaluation will take place only if you score above 50% in part 1 and above 55% in Part 2.

Authority will publish the Result of IIIT Hyderabad B.Tech 2025 on the basis of scores secured by students through various channels. IIIT Hyderabad Merit List 2025
International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad will release the Merit List of IIIT Hyderabad 2025 soon after an announcement of the result. Authority will issue the merit list for applicants who will apply for the admission. The authority will prepare the merit list on the basis of performance in the qualifying examination. Counselling and allotment of seats will be based on the IIIT Hyderabad 2025 Merit list.
IIIT Hyderabad Cutoff 2025
The cut off for IIIT Hyderabad B.Tech will include total marks and subject wise marks secured by the candidate in JEE Main 2025. The cut off of IIIT Hyderabad will be the cut off of different rounds of JEE Main 2025. Candidates who secured equal or more marks to the minimum score of cut off of IIIT Hyderabad will be offered the seat for admission in the B.Tech course. Only such candidates will be eligible for the counselling and seat allotment procedure.
