How to Download Gujarat Nursing Merit List?
The complete admission process is carried out in accordance with this merit list. As the candidates’ are called for counselling round in order of merit list. Furthermore, the below-mentioned steps can be followed for downloading the Gujarat GNM 2025 Merit List.

Gujarat GNM/ANM Selection Process
- The selection committee selects candidates who passed the HSC Exam.
- Further, as per the received applications, students are ranked in order of merit.
- These merit list candidates then have to appear for the counselling and personal interview round. According to their performance in this round, the selection committee shortlists students.
Moreover, all applicants must satisfy the eligibility criteria. If the candidate is found to be ineligible, then the authorities reject their applications. In addition, the eligibility criteria, prescribed by the officials is mentioned down below.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates’ who have passed HSC Exam from a recognized board or university are eligible.
- The students who have cleared the HSC Exam in vocational auxiliaries horse’s midwife course can also apply. Moreover, the course should have been revised after 2001 and recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
- The applicant should have had English as a mandatory subject.
- In addition, the students who passed the qualifying exam with 40% marks are eligible.
- The applicant should have undergone at least a 6 months long internship.
Reservation of Seats

Seat Allotment
The seats are allotted in order of merit only. However, the student’s choice forms are also taken into consideration. Note that some of the seats are for reserved category students. The candidates’ who do not belong to reserved categories cannot claim those. Furthermore, the candidates’ are admitted to the Nursing Schools of Gujarat. Moreover, seats in Government GNM/ ANM Nursing Institutes are reserved for widows and orphan girls. The students applying for these seats have to provide a widow or orphan certificate. It should be issued Collector/ Deputy Collector/ JTDO and DDO. If the candidate does not produce the required documents, then the seat is allotted to another candidate.
Gujarat GNM Nursing Counselling 2025
The counselling round is usually conducted to check whether merit list students are suitable for the offered course or not. Thus, a special selection committee is appointed for the process. Gujarat GNM Nursing Counselling round is conducted in online mode. However, to fill in the vacant seats, a mop-up round is conducted. The venue, date, and time details of counselling round shall be present on the official website of the nursing council. In addition, the counselling starts soon after the result declaration.
