BHU UET Counselling Procedure 2019: Banaras Hindu University grants admission to the courses is done through BHU UET counselling 2019 held by BHU after the declaration of the result and the announcement of the Merit List. BHU UET Counselling 2019
BHU UET Counselling Procedure 2019 will be held by the University after the declaration of the result. The candidate will be called for BHU UET Counselling Procedure 2019 only on the fulfilment of the eligibility conditions, qualifying UET exam and completing all the requirements for the admission. The candidate will be allotted the seat for the final admission completely on the basis of the marks obtained by her/his in the entrance exam.
The qualified candidates will be receiving the call letters by the concerned head of the department for BHU UET 2019 Counselling Procedure. The admission procedure will be conducted by the Admission Committees of the respective departments. The call letters have to be downloaded from the BHU Entrance test portal. The BHU UET Counselling Procedure 2019 will be a three steps procedure i.e. Online Preference Entry, Activity on the day of the council and Activity on the next day of the counselling date. The candidates interested in taking admission in the University must note that it is important to attend BHU UET Counselling procedure 2019 for the final allotment of the seats in the concerned department.
Steps Of BHU UET Counselling Procedure 2019
BHU UET Counselling Procedure 2019 will be the last step for the final admission for the candidate. The Counselling procedure will be involving the following steps.
Step 1 Online Preference Entry (On or after an issue of call letter and before the counselling date)
The candidate called for a counselling procedure will be required to fill up an Online Preference Entry form which will be available on the Entrance Test Portal of the University. In the Preference Entry form candidate will be required to fill up the preference as per mentioned below:
- Honours Subject (For B.Sc. Honours)
- Honours Subject (For B.A. Hons.)
- Course choice
- Location Preference
- Seat Type.
The order of preference should be filled carefully and all the sections should be filled and completed by the candidate. In case the sections are left incomplete, it will be considered that the candidate is not interested in an option. Candidates will get another opportunity to make any form of changes if required in an Online Preference Entry form on the day of the counselling.
Step 2 Activity on the Day of the Counselling:
On the day of BHU UET counselling procedure 2019, candidates are required to reach the counselling centre as prescribed in the call letter. The time, date and venue of the counselling procedure will be mentioned and the available slot will be the only chance for the candidate for the seat allotment in the desired course in the university. The Counselling centre/venue in charge should be contacted and attendance sheet should be signed available with the Counselling Centre Incharge.
In case the candidate is admitted they will be required to pay the fee for the course on the day of the counselling only. If in any condition the candidate is not able to pay the mentioned fee amount, her/his candidature will be liable for rejection. The candidate will be required to check up with the Counselling centre in charge about the amount, mode of payment and deadline for the payment of the fee.
Mode of Payment:
After receiving the provisional admission letter, from the Venue Incharge/Counselling centre, the candidate will be provided with an option for the payment of the Application fee.
- Online Payment through Credit Card/Debit Card through the payment gateway available on the Entrance Test portal.
- Payment of Fee in cash at the fee counters (check the location of the nearest fee counter at the Counselling Centre/Venue).
Step 3 Next day of the counselling date:
The proof of payment of the fee is required to be submitted to the Counselling Centre/Venue on the next day of the counselling. This will not be required if the payment has been done through an online mode. In case the candidate fails to produce the evidence/proof of the payment of the fee, her/his provisional admission letter will be considered to be Cancelled/withdrawn.
Documents required at the time of the Counselling:
- High School Certificate/Equivalent certificate.
- Transfer Certificate.
- Migration Certificate, if passed from the University other than BHU.
- Intermediate Certificate/Equivalent certificate.
- Marksheet of High School/equivalent and intermediate/equivalent.
- Marksheet of the qualifying examination.
- Required certificate if belonging to the reserved category (SC/ST/OBC).
- UET Admit card from the office of the controller of the examination.
- Certificate in support of a claim for Sports seat.
- Certificate of being a daughter/son of permanent in service employee/Retired/ employee/deceased employee of BHU in the prescribed format issued by the Central Registry.
