Steps to Fill the Application Form

AMU will grant admission to the candidates on the basis of the marks secured by them in the Admission Test conducted by the University. Faculty of Social Science, Arts and K.A. Nizami Centre for Quranic Studies

• There shall be a Combined Admission Test for admission to B.A (Hons) under Arts, social Science and K.A. Nizami Centre for Quranic Studies.
• There will be one objective paper of the total of the 100 marks and the duration of the exam will be of 2 Hours.
• The distribution of marks will be as such-

-English: 25 Marks

-Indo-Islamic Culture and Aligarh Movement: 25 Marks

-General Awareness and Current Affair: 40 Marks

-Reasoning and Intelligence: 10 Marks

Faculty of International Studies

For admission to B.A candidate will have to appear for Admission Test conducted by the University. The duration of the exam will be of 2 hours. Candidates are given admission to B.A. on the basis of their performance in the Admission Test.

There will be one objective paper of 100 marks with the following subjects:

• English Composition, Grammar, Comprehension etc: 60 Marks
• General awareness and current affair: 20 Marks
• Indo Islamic Culture and Aligarh Movement: 10 Marks
• Reasoning and Intelligence: 10 Marks

Faculty of Law

For admission to B.A, LL.B, the University will conduct the General Admission Test. There will be only one paper of 100 marks consisting of 75 objective type questions (75% weightage) and 10 short answer type questions (25% weightage). The two-hour paper will consist of the following mentioned topics:

• General English
• Current Affairs/General Knowledge (with an emphasis on legal issues)
• Reasoning and Aptitude.

Faculty of Theology

The admission to the applied course will be given on the basis of the score secured by the candidate in the Departmental Test. The duration of the exam will be of 2 hours. The question paper will be in an objective type pattern and will include the following components:

• English: 25 Marks
• Indo-Islamic Culture and Aligarh Movement: 25 Marks
• General Awareness and Current Affairs: 40 Marks
• Reasoning and Intelligence: 10 Marks

AMU B.A 2025 Admit Card

The Admit Card for the General Admission Test will release on the official website of Aligarh Muslim University. Candidates who will successfully fill up the Application Form of B.A 2025 will be able to download it by providing the required credentials. The candidate must bring the Admit Card on the examination day.
