AMU Application Form 2025

The candidates will have to provide their credentials in order to register successfully. Also, they must keep scanned copies of the required documentation ready while filling the AMU Application Form 2025. How to Fill the Application Form For AMU Admission Test 2025

The application procedure shall include the following steps:

  • Fill the application form (online)
  • Provide photograph, thumb impression, and signature
  • Pay the application fees (online)
  • Submit the Application form

Step 1: Registration

This is the first and foremost step to apply for the examination. The candidates applying for single or multiple courses must register only once. however, the applicant has to register themselves. Therefore, On clicking, subsequently, the registration page will open. Follow the below-given steps:
(1) Click on “Register (for a new user)” (if the candidate is registering for the first time)
(2) Fill in the required details like Email-ID, Name, Password and Username.
(3) Click on “submit”.
NOTE: The candidate must note down the password and username entered by them as that will be required to fill up the application form and for future reference too.

Step 2: Fill the AMU Application Form 2025

While filling the Application Form of AMU 2025, you shall have to provide the following information:

  • Name of the course applied for (Mention/Select clearly the correct and complete name of the Course(s) of study for which applying)
  • Name of the Faculty
  • Order of preference
  • Admission Test Centres ( Select the test centres according to your convenience)

Status (Mention whether you are an External or Internal Candidate)
Internal Candidate: An Internal candidate is one who has passed the qualifying examination conducted by the University as a regular student not earlier than three (3) academic years from the date of admission to the Course he/she is seeking admission to.

Internal candidates should submit relevant documents with their Application Form in support of internal status, failing which they will be considered as External candidates.

External Candidates: And all other candidates shall be treated as External.

  • Enrolment Number ( For Candidates who were or are enrolled in the University)
  • Hall Code (For Candidates who were or are enrolled in the University)
  • Name of the Candidate (as mentioned in your High School / Secondary School Certificate)
  • Date of Birth (as mentioned in your High School/ Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent in terms of the day, month, and year)
  • Gender (M/F)
  • Father’s Name (as mentioned in your High School/ Secondary School Certificate)
  • Mother’s Name (as mentioned in your High School/ Secondary School Certificate)
  • Correspondence Address
  • Permanent Address
  • Domicile State/U.T. of India
  • Special Category Code
  • Gate Score/ Passing Year (applicable only for candidates applying for admission to M.Tech. Courses)
  • Hostel Accommodation (Yes/No)
  • Details of Qualifying Exam
  • Employment Record, if any
  • Telephone/Email
  • School Code (applicable only for candidates applying to SSSC /Diploma in Engg. course who are pursuing/passed High School from AMU)
  • Test Subject (only for B.Ed. Course applicants)
  • Professional Experience (only for B.E. (Evening) Course applicants)

The following details have to be filled by candidates filling up Outstanding Sportsperson/ Debator & Talent Category Proforma

  • Tick the category (Sportsperson or Debator)
  • Name of the Game if applicable
  • Title of the Event with Highest Award won (National/State/District/University / College / Inter School level)

Step 3: Provide Photograph, Thumb Impression and Signature

In case of online mode, you shall have to upload scanned images of your Photograph, thumb impression (Left Thumb Impression for males and Right Thumb Impression for females) and Signature as per the specification mentioned below:

Documents to be uploaded other than the above mentioned by the candidate (if applicable):

1. Scanned copy of date of birth certificate/High School Certificate of the candidate.

2. Scanned copy of Marks-sheet / grade-sheet of the qualifying examination. (If the Marks-sheet /grade-sheet of the qualifying examination is not available, the Marks-sheet / grade-sheet

passed in the preceding year should be uploaded)

3. Scanned copy of documents in support of the claim under a special category, if any.

4. Scanned copy of valid GATE Score Card (applicable only for candidates applying for admission to M.Tech. courses in the Faculty of Engineering & Technology).

5. Scanned copy of documents in support of Professional Experience, if any (applicable only for candidates applying for admission to B.E course in the Faculty of Engineering &

Technology).

6. Scanned copy of No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer, if employed at present.

NOTE: It is to be ensured that all documents should be uploaded in JPG/JPEG format only and their individual size should lie between 200 KB to 2 MB.

Step 4: Pay the Application Fee

The application fee for different courses shall be different. It varies from course to courses. The application fee can be paid via ONLINE mode by using Internet Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card. The amount to pay as an AMU application fee will depend on the number of courses applied/selected by the applicant. The application fee once paid will not be refundable under any circumstances.

NOTE: PWD (PH-Category) candidates having 40% disability are exempted from the payment of Admission Test / Processing Charges.

Step 5: Submit the Application Form

After successful completion of application fee payment, applicants must accept the “declare” option and submit the application form. The AMU application form is available in PDF format. It will appear on the screen. Furthermore, candidates must download and take the printout of the same for future reference.

Correction in Application Form 2025

Once the application form of the AMU 2025 Exam is submitted along with the application fee payment through the official website, the applicants cannot edit or make any changes in any field in the application form later on. Therefore, the candidates must fill up the application form of AMU carefully and review it at each step while filling the same. In case, if the correction is necessary, such candidates may create a new user login and fill the form again and pay the processing charges as usual.

  • Application Forms may be rejected if :
    • Received incomplete.
    • Not submitted on prescribed form
    • Received without a requisite fee.
    • Received after the last date.
