AIIMS MBBS 2019 Cutoff
The AIIMS MBBS cut-off is the minimum qualifying marks that the applicants required to obtain in order to participate in the counselling procedure & seat allotment. Candidates who took the AIIMS 2019 exam need to score the cut-off mark to become eligible for counselling. Those who score less than the cut-off mark will be debarred from participating in the counselling & seat allotment procedure. The minimum cut-off mark to determine the eligibility are provided in the table below.

Normalization Process
The normalization is a procedure to decide the merit/ranking (used at the time counselling for seat allotment) between those candidates who appeared on examination. The normalization procedure is done on the basis of percentiles.
AIIMS MBBS 2019 Percentile Scores
These are scores which based on the relative performance of all candidates, those appear in the examination. Basically, marks secured are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each group of examinees.
It indicates the percentage of candidates, in which they have scored equal to or below that particular percentile in that exam. That’s why topper (higher score) of each group will get the same percentile of 100.
The marks secured in between highest & lowest scores are also converted to appropriate percentiles. The Percentile score is Normalized Score for examination.

Methods of Resolving Ties
If two or more candidates obtain equal marks, then to break the tie, the following steps will be taken into consideration. The overall merit/ranking will be based on percentile scores of total scores. The procedure will be adopted for breaking ties (similar percentiles) will be given here:
- Biology: If the tie happens, then higher percentile scores in Biology will be considered as higher ranking.
- Chemistry: In case Biology percentile does not break ties, then higher percentile scores in Chemistry will result in higher ranking.
- Physics: If Biology & Chemistry percentiles do not break the tie, higher percentile scores in Physics will consider in higher ranking.
- Age: If Biology, Chemistry & Physics percentiles do not break ties, then the elder age of candidates will be ranked higher.

AIIMS MBBS Result 2019
AIIMS Result is now available on the website. However, the result is available in the form of Merit List (Roll Number). As per the notice released, the AIIMS MBBS 2019 online (computer-based test) mode exam is scheduled to be held on 25th May & 26th May 2019 (Saturday & Sunday) and result of the same will be declared on 12th June 2019 (Wednesday). Candidates who took the online test can access their scorecard by entering valid Applicant ID & Password. Scorecard contains the performance of the candidates in the test in terms of marks obtained, percentage scored and qualifying status.

AIIMS MBBS Counselling 2019
AIIMS MBBS Counselling will take place online. However, the Shortlisted candidates need to report at the designated counselling venue for document verification and admission. There will be three rounds of counselling along with Open Round of Counselling. Most probably, the counselling will be held at AIIMS, New Delhi. AIIMS will call 4 times the number of candidates of the total number of seats available in each category for 2019 Counselling. Candidates will get the seat on the basis of their merit scores, rank and performance in the exam.
