AEEE stands for Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination which is a university level examination, conducted by the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeeth University. It is one of the popular University of Bangalore. Amrita Engineering College conducts the AEEE with the ambition to provide admission to deserving engineering aspirants in different B.Tech courses in three of its campuses namely Amritapuri, Bengaluru, and Coimbatore. The courses under B.Tech will be for a duration of 4 years.

The Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination is held in the 75 cities of India and lakhs of candidates apply for this examination every year. The examination is conducted in both online and offline mode. The online exam was conducted from 19th to 22nd April 2018 and the offline mode of AEEE was held on April 28th, 2018. Students who wish to apply had to fill the online and offline application form that had been released on 1st December 2017. Only those candidates who have passed the 10+2 qualifying examination with Physics, chemistry, and mathematics can apply for this entrance examination.

Counselling Procedure For AEEE 2018

The AEEE B.Tech Counselling dates have been announced by the official admission committee. To get the detailed information, click on the link given below. All the candidates who qualify the examination will be called for counselling procedure which will involve seat allotment and document verification process. The counselling procedure will be held in offline mode and candidates will have to reach any of the 3 allotted Amrita University campuses with the required documents. Before this, they will also have to take a print of the counselling letter which will be generated online only. Candidates have to pay an amount (Rs. 5000 – 10,000) as counselling fees and bring the following documents:

  • AEEE 2018 Admit card
  • 12th class certificates
  • 10th class certificate
  • Transfer certificate
  • Community certificate

Result of AEEE 2018

Amrita University has announced the dates for the AEEE 2018 results. The result has published online on the official website on May 7, 2018. The result will state the candidate’s name, his/her score in the examination, and the rank he/she has obtained. Candidates will have to log in with their application number or valid email ID and date of birth to access the AEEE Result 2018.

Application/Registration Form of AEEE 2018

The online, as well as offline OMR Application Form for AEEE 2018, have been made available on 1st December 2017. The last date to fill both the forms with the required documents and fees is 9th April 2018. Candidates filling up the online application form will have to first register themselves and then fill the form on the official website of Amrita University. The images required to be uploaded are the photograph of the candidate and the signature in the prescribed specifications. Payment of fees for online applications can be done through credit card/debit card or net banking or through offline mode in the form of a Demand draft.

Candidates who want to buy the offline forms can get the OMR applications from the University or sales outlets. The application fees for both the applications is Rs. 1000/-.

Eligibility Criteria For AEEE 2018

Only those who fulfil the eligibility criteria will be able to apply and take the AEEE 2018. The criteria set by the University are given below:

  • All candidates should have been born on or after 1st July 1997.
  • All candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 60% aggregate marks in PCM together and 55% in each subject.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus of AEEE 2018

The exam will be held in both online (computer-based) and offline (pen and paper) mode. It will be held for a duration of 2 hours 30 minutes and the language of the question paper will be English. The questions will be of the objective type like multiple choice questions. There will be 100 questions and 3 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Mathematics will be marked out of 40 and physics and chemistry sections will be marked out of 30 each.

Slot booking For AEEE 2018

The Slot Booking of AEEE 2018 has started from 2nd April 2018. The online mode of AEEE 2018 will be conducted on 28th April 2018. Since it is a computer-based exam, it will take place in different slots. Applicants can book the preferred slot according to their comfort during the slot booking process. This will require the candidate to log in using their application number and date of birth. After the slot booking is over, candidates will be able to download the admit card which will state the slot timing of the online mode of exam.

Admit card of AEEE 2018

The Admit card for candidates who have opted for P&P mode of exam is now available. An admit card or hall ticket is an important document that is a must when a candidate is going to take an exam. The admit card/ hall ticket contains all the important details like the candidate’s name, the exam centre detail, exam timings, candidate’s photograph, signature and general instructions to keep in mind while giving the exam. The admit card for all the registered candidates will be made available for download after the slot booking process is over. Candidates who are not able to produce the hall ticket at the time of examination will be debarred from giving the examination.

Cut-off of AEEE 2018

The cut-off is the minimum qualifying marks that are prescribed by the exam conducting authority, to shortlist the names of candidates who meet the cut-off marks and become eligible for counselling and seat allotment procedure. AEEE 2018 cut-off will be prepared by the concerned authorities of Amrita University keeping in mind certain factors like number of registered candidates, number of seats available, previous years’ cut-off trend and difficulty level of the exam.

Seat Allotment For AEEE 2018

The Allotment of Seats for AEEE 2018 will be done based on the rankings of the candidate, keeping in mind the eligibility and preference of seats. After the seat is allotted, candidates will have to pay the fees and complete all other admission formalities. In case a candidate does not complete the formalities, his/her admission will be held cancelled.
