OUAT Counselling 2025: Registration, Round Wise Allotment

Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology will organize the OUAT Counselling 2025 and admission process for the session 2025-23. All the qualified candidates have to attend the counselling process on the basis of their merit. The merit for UG courses is evaluated by considering the weighted score of an applicant in the entrance examination (50%), 10th examination (25%), and 12th examination (25%). Applicants need to report to the allotted venue for the Counselling of OUAT 2025 at the specified date and time. The address of the venue and reporting date and time will be mentioned on the merit list. OUAT 2025 Counselling will consist of various steps which when combined together make a counselling procedure. Candidates will be granted admission under various courses through this finalized round of counselling.

OUAT Counselling 2025 Schedule

The exam conducting body will decide dates for particular events to occur. Aspirants who will be appearing for the examination are requested to keep a track of all the updated dates. Some of the important dates regarding the Counselling of OUAT 2025 are displayed in the table below

Procedure Of OUAT Counselling 2025

Candidates who will be called to take part in the OUAT Counselling 2025 have to strictly follow a stepwise procedure in the same manner as prescribed below:

Step 1 – Online Registration

Applicants need to register online in order to participate in the OUAT 2025 Counselling. The candidate without registration cannot attend the counselling process and his/her candidature will get cancelled.

Step 2 – Filling of Choices

All the registered aspirants can fill the choice of courses and colleges as per their preference. These choices must be filled in order of priority. The authority advises each individual to fill a maximum number of choices to have higher chances of getting admission. Candidates can also modify, rearrange, or alter the filled choices but only before locking them.

Step 3 – Locking of Filled Choices

Once the candidate fills the choice of courses and colleges, they must lock them within the given deadline. If any aspirant fails to lock his/her filled choices then the concerned authority will lock the previously filled choices automatically.

Step 4 – Payment of the Counselling Fee

Candidates also have to pay the Counselling Fee. This fee varies according to different courses offered by the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology. The table below illustrates the amount that needs to be paid as a Counselling fee for various courses:

NOTE – The Demand Draft must be in the name of Controller, OUAT, Bhubaneswar which is payable at Bhubaneswar. Applicants can also make the payment for OUAT Counselling 2025 via SBI Collect.

Step 5 – Allotment of Seats

After payment of Counselling fees, the OUAT Authority will allot seats to applicants on the basis of their merit, choices filled, and availability of seats. If the candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat, then he/she needs to confirm it.

Step 6 – Verification of Documents

Applicants also have to get their documents verified, therefore they have to carry original documents as well as hard copies for verification purposes. Also, upon successful verification candidates need to pay academic fees for the first semester.

Step 7 – Reporting to the Allotted Institute

Candidates who have gone through the above 6 steps successfully have to report at the allotted institute in order to complete all the further admission formalities.

NOTE – The exam conducting body will also conduct a Special Round of Counselling in order to fill the vacant seat if any.

Documents Required for OUAT Counselling

Applicants  have to carry a number of documents for verification at the time of OUAT Counselling 2025 and they are mentioned below:

• Class 10th Mark sheet
• Class 12th Mark sheet
• OUAT 2025 Admit Card
• OUAT 2025 Scorecard
• Passing Certificate
• Transfer or Leaving Certificate from Institute last attended
• Migration Certificate
• Caste or Category certificate (For SC/ST categories)
• Proof of date of birth
• Certificate of Physical Fitness
• Residential Certificate
• Any of the Government Identity proofs such as Passport, Driving License, Aadhar Card, etc.
• Demand Draft must be drawn in the favor of Comptroller, OUAT, Bhubaneswar which is payable at Bhubaneswar.
• Passport sized colored photographs

OUAT Admission Process 2025

The admission authority will publish a common merit list and category-wise merit list for various Undergraduate courses. Based on these merit lists, OUAT 2025 Counselling will be conducted for offering admission to eligible candidates. The merit list will contain date and time for the counselling process and this list will be available on the official website of Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology. The concerned authorities will also conduct a Special Round of OUAT Counselling 2025 if there will be any vacant seats.

Applicants will not be allowed to make changes once they have locked their filled choices. Seats will be allotted to aspirants and they need to confirm the allotted seats by paying an academic fee. Candidates will then go through the verification process and also they need to complete the OUAT Admission Process 2025 by completing all the admission formalities.
