JNUET Application Form 2025
NTA will release the JNUET Online form on its official website. It is an important part of the Admission procedure. The candidates must fill-up the form and submit it before the last date. The availability of JNUET Application Form 2025 will be in an online mode and there will be no other way of accessing it. The candidates must read the content and must make sure that there is no error while filling the details in the Application Form. It is essential that the details provided in the form are valid and correct.
The candidates must fill the Application Form of JUNET 2025 with the information in all the sections. The official authorities will not accept incomplete applications. It is important for the candidates that they must select the course they will be applying for very carefully. The final submission of the JNUET 2025 Application Form will only be after the payment of the Application Fee, the forms will not be accepted otherwise.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus for JNUET
The JNU exam pattern and syllabus vary with every course and subject. NTA will conduct Computer Based Examination. For detailed JNU syllabus and exam pattern, find the official e-prospectus. Any changes in the pattern and syllabus will be updated here. The following points highlighted the exam pattern in general for all the courses and subjects:
- Duration: The time allotted will be 3 hours for all the papers
- Mode: The mode of exam shall be Online
- Types of Question: Objective or Descriptive or a combination of both which shall vary from subject to subject.
- Total Marks: The exam shall be conducted for 100 marks in maximum.
- Negative marking: There shall be a negative marking of 1/4th of the mark assigned for the question for every wrong answer. This shall apply only for the objective-type exams.
- Number of Questions: The number of questions and distribution of marks shall vary for each subject.

B.A. (Hons.) 1st year in Foreign Language | The paper judges General Knowledge, General English and Elementary Knowledge on the culture and civilization of the languages/country concerned and aptitude for language skills. |
B.A. (Hons.) 2nd year in Foreign Language | Knowledge of basic and applied grammar, besides some competence for a simple translation from the English language concerned and vice-versa and familiarity with the culture and civilization of the country concerned. The paper will be set in the respective foreign language. |
M.Phil /PhD | The entrance examination will consist of multiple-choice questions or descriptive type questions or both depending on the subject one has applied for. The admission to M.Phil/PhD shall be followed by an interview of shortlisted candidates. |
Admit Card for JNUET 2025
The Admit cards for JNU Entrance Test 2025 will release on the NTA website. It is a mandatory document that the candidate has to carry at the day of the exam. The candidates without JNUET Admit card cannot enter the entrance examination hall or appear for the examination. The candidate must provide the correct credentials in the login section of the Hall Ticket. Candidates must note that the details in the login are valid and correct. Otherwise, they cannot submit the application form.
The Admit card of JNUET 2025 will mention all the crucial details. So, all the details are the Name of the candidate, Roll Number, Application Number, Course Name, Course Code, Date of the exam, Timing of the Exam, Centre allotted to the candidate for the examination, etc. So, the details provided must be checked thoroughly. However, if any form of error is there in the contents of the Permission letter, the candidate must contact the examination conducting body immediately. It is an important document that the students must keep with the utmost care. The officials will ask for the admit card at the time of the Interview or the admission.
Results of JNU Entrance Test 2025
NTA will release JNU Entrance Test Results in an online mode on the official website in May 2025. Through the result, candidates will be informed if they have been selected for the course. If the selection procedure is followed by an interview round. The officials will inform the candidates if their name is shortlisted for the interview. The candidate can download JNUET Result 2025 after logging in with the help of the required credentials.
How to Check JNU Entrance/Semester Result
- Visit the official website of NTA and click on the link to view results that shall be highlighted there. You shall be directed to the Results search page.
- Select the model you wish to exercise to view results. You shall have to select any of “Search by Application no.” or “Search by Registration No.”
- Select the Programme of study from the drop-down menu.
- Select the Field of Study.
- Enter your Application no. or the Registration number, whichever you have selected.
- Click on the ‘Search’ button.
- Your results shall be displayed on the screen.
Admission Procedure for JNUET
All the candidates who have been selected for a particular programme must have filled the pre-enrolment form online indicating that they have accepted the offer of admission. While filling the pre-enrolment form, they will also be required to upload relevant documents asked for on the portal. The following amount has to be paid online while filling the pre-enrolment form:

Documents required at the time of Viva-Voce
- Testimonials from two persons one of whom should be a former teacher of the candidate;
- A complete list of subjects/papers taken by the candidate for the certificates/degrees held by him/her.
- A copy of at least one of the published papers of the candidate, if any, which he/she considers to be the most representative of his/her intellectual interest and ability.
- A brief note (one copy) stating the candidate’s area of specialized interest of research, if any, and his future professional goals, and such other additional information that may help his/her selection to the programme of study.
- A research proposal of around 500 words is to be submitted by the candidate at the time of viva-voce.
List of Documents Required at the time of admission
- Enrolment Form.
- Central Library Application Form.
- Five copies of recent passport-size photographs.
- Two sets of self-attested copies of the Matriculation, Higher secondary, Pre-University or Indian School Certificate or Senior School Certificate (10+2), or an equivalent examination certificate showing the age/date of birth of the candidate.
- A Character Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended.
- Two sets of self-attested copies of the statement of marks obtained by the candidate and passing certificate/degree of Senior School, Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree examination etc; or their equivalent examination.
- For SC/ST Candidates: Two attested copies of SC/ ST Certificate in the prescribed format in support of their claim for admission against the reserved quota.
- OBC Candidates: Two copies of OBC Certificate in the prescribed format.
- For PWD Candidates: Two copies of Disability Certificate in the prescribed format issued by a Competent Medical Authority indicating the nature and extent (including percentage) of Physical Disability in support of their claim for admission against PWD quota.
- Migration Certificate (in original) from the Head of the Institution/University last attended.
- Two Anti-Ragging Affidavits (one to be signed by the candidate and the other to be signed by the parent/guardian of the candidate) on non-judicial Stamp Paper of Rs.10/- each as per the given format duly attested by a Notary Public.
- Candidates pursuing their studies with some other University/Institution are required to submit discontinuation certificate from their respective University/Institution at the time of registration/admission. Also, they are required to submit the Migration Certificate subsequently within the stipulated time.
- The admission of candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from a Foreign University will be subject to their qualification is found equivalent to the qualifications prescribed by the University.
- The candidates, enjoying the employed status and selected for admission to any programme of study in the University, are required to produce a leave sanction order/relieving order at the time of admission/ registration from their employer for the duration of the programme.
- Following documents will be submitted by the candidate (in original) at the Admission Counter in a separate envelope while taking admission/registration:
- Marksheets & Degree/Provisional Certificate of the qualifying examination
- Migration certificate
- Character Certificate
- Anti-ragging Affidavits
