The university follows the semester mode of examination in which each year is divided into two semesters. Therefore, for UG courses there is a total of six semesters and for PG courses there are four semesters only. For each Semester there are Honours Allied Ability Enhancement Total Credits for (Core Courses= 14 Papers) (Elective Courses=8 Papers) and for (Compulsory Courses= 4 Papers). The Course structure for B.Sc./ B.A./ B.Com.(Hons. Programme) also follows the same pattern.
