The Replica of NEET PG Scorecard 2020

NEET Post Graduate Merit List 2020: Details available on the Rank List

NEET PG Merit List 2020: The NEET PG Scorecard can be downloaded through candidate login. Candidates have to enter their User ID and Password to download their individual results. NEET PG Exam will take place online (computer-based test) mode on 5th January 2020. NEET PG Application form 2020 will release in the month of October/November 2020. After the exam, the NBE releases the rank list based on the performance of the test takers. The NEET PG 2020 rank list contains the following details:

  • Score out of 1200
  • All India NEET PG 2020 rank

How to download and check the NEET PG Merit List?

In order to check and download the NEET PG Merit List 2020, appeared candidates must follow the below-mentioned steps

  • Visit the Official Website of NEET PG – www.nbe.edu
  • Click on the link “NEET PG Merit List” here. Link will be available in the article.
  • NEET PG 2020 will be displayed on the screen.
  • Save, download and take the printout of the same to take the exam.

The eligibility-cum-entrance exam of NEET Post Graduate Entrance Exam 2020 will be held on 5th January 2020.

Types of NEET PG Merit List

The NBE releases NEET PG Admission List in various forms. Roll number merit list, All India 50% quota merit list, All India 50% Quota Category Rank etc is provided below.

Roll No. wise All India NEET PG Rank

This merit list will include all the candidates who have appeared for the entrance exam. All the candidates will be allotted a rank irrespective of their qualifying status.

All India 50% Quota Rank

This NEET PG Merit List 2019 will only include the candidates who have qualified the exam and are eligible for admission to 50% All India Quota seats. Candidates who have a domicile of Jammu and Kashmir state will not be included in this merit list.

All India 50% Quota Category Rank

This is the category-wise merit list in which candidates are assigned ranks as per their category (OBC/SC/ST). This NEET PG Merit List will be valid for admission to 50% All India Quota seats only.

State Quota or Union Territory Overall and Category-wise NEET PG Merit List

The state or union territory’s counselling conducting bodies will be releasing their separate merit list using the NEET PG merit list. These bodies can allot state merit rank to the candidates. These merit lists will be used for admission to the respective state government and private colleges.

NEET PG Merit List pdf – Tiebreaker Criteria

If the merit score of two or more candidates is equal, then the tiebreaker criteria are used to resolve the tie. The following parameters that take place to resolve the criteria is as follows-

  • The candidate who will obtain more number of correct responses in NEET PG will be given preference over the one with the lesser number of preferences.

Qualifying Examination Marks
  • If the tie still persists, then the marks in the qualifying examination will be taken into consideration.
  • For this, the aggregate marks in 1st Professional, 2nd Professional, 3rd Professional part 1 and part 2 marks will be calculated.
  • The candidate with more marks will be allotted a higher rank over the lesser ones.
  • Candidates who have obtained the MBBS degree outside India will be asked to submit their marks out of 300 in Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE).

Date of Birth
  • If the above two criteria fail, then the candidates’ age will be considered.
  • Thus, the Candidate who is older in age will be given preference over the younger candidates.

NEET Post Graduate Exam Cut-off

In order to be included in the All India 50% Quota Rank List candidates will be required to secure the NEET PG Cutoff 2020. The cut off is the minimum qualifying marks that are set by the NBE. Hence, on the basis of the cutoff marks, candidates will be eligible for the counselling.

NEET PG Merit List 2020 – Salient Features

The NBE NEET PG Merit List will be published in the month of February 2020. Hence, candidates who have appeared the exam on 5th January 2020, and qualify can expect their names on the merit list. Some of the important details about NEET PG Rank List is as follows-

  • The state authorities will be publishing the NEET PG merit list separately.
  • For that, the Candidates must have the minimum marks to register for counselling.
  • The merit position for All India 50% quota seats shall be declared separately.
  • The final merit list/category wise merit list for admission to MD/MS/Diploma (except All India 50% quota seats) shall be generated by various Counselling Authorities as per their qualifying/eligibility criteria, applicable guidelines/Regulations & reservation policy.
  • Candidates belonging to Jammu and Kashmir state is not eligible for admission to 50% All India Quota rank.
