The cutoff marks for each category is different. Moreover, the cutoff marks of some of the medical institutes may also vary. NTA NEET 2025 Cutoff list is released on the NTA website in pdf format. In addition, the cutoff marks for this session are expected to be high as last year the topper scored full marks. However, it is just an assumption.

Latest Updates on NEET MBBS Cutoff 2025
- NEET 2025 is the single exam for admission to undergraduate medical courses in India. Hence, now admission to AIIMS & JIPMER is also through NEET.
- The NEET Merit List shall now be applicable for admission in Veterinary Colleges for undergraduate courses like BVSc and Animal Husbandry under 15% All India Quota.
- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana now participate in 15% All India Quota Counselling. You don’t have to submit any self-declaration anymore.
- Lastly, for admission into UG courses in AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy).
NEET MBBS 2025 Cutoff Marks – State-Wise Counselling Process
The Reservation of the Seats in all the Government Medical College under 15% All India Quota is as follows-
- 15% of seats are reserved for the scheduled caste students.
- 7.5% of seats are reserved for the Scheduled Tribes.
- As per the Central Act of the Seats, 27% of the seats are reserved for the OBC Community.
- 3% Seats are reserved for the PWD Candidates.

Suppose out of 10, 00, 000 students your rank score is 100 in NEET. Then your percentile is (600000-50) / 600000 X100= 99.99%.

- Note Down the Correct and Incorrect Answers by referring to the NEET Answer Key 2025.
- Calculate the NEET Answer Key on the basis of the NEET Marking Scheme
- If your answer is correct then four marks shall be rewarded and for a wrong answer, 1 mark is deducted.
- Zero Marks are calculated for the unanswered question and for more than two answers.

NEET Admission Process 2025
The Admission of NEET 2025 is done in two ways – All India Quota Counselling and State Counselling.
- 15% of seats are reserved under the All India Quota
- The rest of the seats can be filled by the State Quota Counselling.
- The Seats are granted on the basis of your NEET Score, Rank, Colleges, during the online counselling and cutoff.
- If any seats remain vacant then, two rounds of counselling shall take place.
Tie-Breaking Criteria of NEET Cutoff 2025
The Tie-Breaking Criteria is used when more than two candidates score the same number of marks in the examination. The Tie-Breaking Criteria depends on the following order-

- Total Number of Wrong Answers

NTA NEET 2025 Result
NTA releases the individual scorecard and a merit list as well. Candidates can hence check their results by visiting the NTA NEET website. However, to check NEET-UG 2025 Result, candidates have to login first by entering the registration ID and password. A merit list is also published separately for each quota seat so that the admission rounds can be carried out with ease. Soon, after the result declaration, counselling starts after which seats are allotted.
NEET Counselling 2025
The Counselling starts soon after the release of the Merit List. Candidates who have been shortlisted in the Merit List with NEET Cutoff Marks are called out for Counselling. The NEET 2025 Counselling takes place for 15% of All India Quota Seats conducted by the Directorate General of Health Sciences on the behalf of Medical Counselling Committee. The Counselling process takes place in online mode. The Number of Seats is displayed by the regulatory bodies.

The Seat Allotment Process of NEET 2025 take place on the basis of merit cum preference. The NEET Seat Allotment 2025 takes place after the counselling round.
