Highlights about NCHM JEE Counselling 2020
The candidates must make sure to know each and every fact of NCHM JEE Counselling 2020. The following points explain about the same:
- The applicants must make sure to give the maximum number of choices after that they take a look on all the institutes.
- If the candidates do not have their 10th standard qualifying certificate and thus have not submitted the same at the time of counselling, then he/ she will have to submit the same latest by the month of September 2020. If one turns unable to submit the same, then the authority will cancel his/ her candidature.
- At the time of the counselling session, the applicants will have to produce his/ her Secondary Education Board/ Pre-University Certificate for the proof of his/ her date of birth. If he/ she fails to do so, then he/she will not be considered for the further admission procedure.
- As much as the 5%-15% extra seats over and above the decided intake may be offered as per the requirement to take care of no-shows and dropouts during the counselling procedure.
- One can note that he/ she will have to deposit a copy of the duly attested hall ticket with the invigilator for his/ her sign. The candidate, therefore, is advised to keep the admit card safely till the completion of the counselling procedure of NCHMCT JEE 2020.
How to Participate in NCHM JEE Counselling Session 2020?
The candidate can participate in the counselling session of NCHM JEE by following the steps mentioned below:
The first and foremost step is to register oneself for the counselling session. If the candidate attends the counselling without doing the registration, then he/ she will not be considered eligible for attending the same. The registration can be done from the official website of the authority.
Online Choice filling and Choice Locking:
After that the candidates have registered themselves, they will be getting the chance to filling and locking their choices. One must make sure not to forget locking and filling and choices because, without the same, he/ she will not be able to get the seats. One, who has not registered himself/ herself in the first round and have been allotted a seat in the first and the second round but he/ she has not reported to the centres will be eligible for the spot round counselling. One, who has withdrawn before the spot round of the counselling session of NCHM JEE will be able to attend the spot round counselling session.
Seat Allotment Result:
Post the candidates have locked their choices and filled the same, the authority will be releasing its result. The seat allotment result shall be available in an online mode.
Online Payment of Seat Acceptance Fee:
After the candidate has completed all the above steps, he/ she must make sure to pay the requisite amount of fee. The amount, which has to be paid is Rs. 57, 500. This amount consists of 1000/- of the counselling fee and the rest amount of fee is the academic fee for the first semester of the hotel management course.
Reporting to Allotted College:
The last step will be to report to the allotted institute. The candidate will have to report to the college in order to get their admission confirmed. The procedure of the document verification will take place in the college itself.
Counselling of NCHMCT JEE 2020
After that the result has been declared, the authority will be conducting the counselling session. The candidates, who have qualified NCHM 2020 will be considered eligible for attending the counselling session. As the authority will not send any hard copy of the allotment letter, the candidates will have to take a printout of the online allotment letter. While the candidate is taking part in the counselling session, the applicants will be provided with two options-Float and Freeze. If the candidate selects the option of Float, then he/ she will apply for the upgradation. On the other side of the coin, if the applicant selects the option of Freeze, then it means that the candidate has applied for no upgradation.
Last year, the authority released a statement which pronounced, “Those candidates who have opted for “Float” option, are also required to sign a declaration that in the event of allotment of a new seat in the 2nd round, their earlier allotted seat would be automatically cancelled and the cancelled seat would be offered to the candidate next in the merit who might have sought that seat through his/her earlier submitted choices”. Adding to it, the authority also said, “In case the candidates have exercised option “Freeze” (for no-upgradation), then he/she would not be considered for seat allotment in the 2nd round of Counselling. However, such candidates will be considered for category upgradation against the same allotted seat”.

The candidate, who have qualified the examination will have to attend the counselling session of NCHM JEE 2020.
