Mahatma Gandhi University 2020: Mahatma Gandhi University is located in Kottayam, Kerala. It has not released the notification regarding the admission process for the session 2020-21. Every year university welcomes students for the U.G, P.G, B.Ed, M.Ed and MHRD courses. Students can apply for U.G courses tentatively from May 2020 and for P.G also from May 2020 to June 2020. Since the selection procedure of the students is not based on entrance hence only a few days are given to get oneself registered.

U.G programs are affiliated to the Arts and Science Colleges of the Mahatma Gandhi University. In this university, candidates can fill the form for only one college. Having more than one application form submission will result in the rejection of the form. Candidates can apply online for MG University. Before filling the application form, candidates are required to keep the scanned copy of all the documents required. Also, have the scanned copy of photograph and signature.

Mahatma Gandhi University Admission 2020

Mahatma Gandhi University takes admission in the U.G and P.G courses on the basis of the rank list. It does not conduct any kind of entrance exam for any of the courses except in MBA which need a clearance of CAT exam and other MBA entrance exam.

After filling the application form of Mahatma Gandhi University, the university ranks the students according to their marks acquired by them in their previous exam. And thus students are provided with the allotment dates. Those who are selected get the allotment date in which candidates have to come for an interview. Since no entrance exam is held for the courses, hence the allotment date and day play a very important roll in the admission process.

Mahatma Gandhi University eligibility 2020

MG University has released the notification regarding the allotment of the students in the respective courses. The basic requirement for the courses is listed below.

Programmes conducted in Arts and Science Colleges affiliated to the University.

UG Courses: Candidates are required to have passed intermediate or equivalent exam recognized by the university.

 P.G courses: Graduate in the respective subject

For admission to various PG programmes conducted in statutory teaching Departments/ Schools of the University, candidates have to clear CAT-MGU 2020 for the courses listed by the university. For MBA – Clear the entrance exam held at all India level.

B. Ed – Must be a graduate.

M.Ed – completed graduation + B.Ed

MHRD– Graduate from Mahatma Gandhi University or an equivalent degree of any other Universities duly recognized by M.G University with not less than 55% marks in Science and Technology subjects and 50% marks in other subjects in the aggregate for all parts of examinations OR a Master’s Degree examination with 55% marks in aggregate.

  • Note: Only a pass in any Bachelor’s Degree examination is needed for SC/ST candidates

Mahatma Gandhi University Application Form 2020

The Application Form Mahatma Gandhi University 2020 will be available online. Students can apply for the university by visiting the site. They have to download the admission form and ten along with the required document one can submit the form in the respective college. One should keep in mind that only one application form is to be submitted by the candidates for one college. If the person applies for more than one subject then colleges/universities will reject their application process. Hence be careful while applying for the MG University. Some of the courses application forms started from 5th March, others started in the month of May and will last till June. As per the subject applied by the students, they must look into the date.

Before filling the form, candidates are asked to register themselves. The process is given below:

  • Register yourself and pay the fee.
  •  Fill the personal and academic details
  • Make the selection option
  • In a review of the application, edit if you want to
  • And finally “ submit the application”

The application form will not proceed if the application fees are not submitted. It is soon asked after the registration process. Payment is done online through credit card/debit card/net banking. Mahatma Gandhi University Exam Pattern 2020

There is no exam pattern for the entrance exam because the selection of the students is based on the rank prepared by the university. Rank is based on the previous marks qualified by them and as per the percentage, they are ranked. So no exam is held for the admission process thus no requirement of the exam pattern. However regular courses exam conducts every year.

Mahatma Gandhi University Syllabus 2020

For the new session 2020-21, there is no such syllabus because students are selected on the basis of rank prepared by the university. However, subjects in the regular courses have a syllabus which is prescribed by the university. Each course contains the syllabus as per the pattern of the subject. The syllabus is subjective to change. It is prepared by the professors of the departments in the university. Apart from some common topics, the syllabus differs from state to state and university to university.

Mahatma Gandhi University Allotment procedure 2020

In MG University admission procedure for different courses is based on the ranking. University takes no entrance exam for the selection of the students. University takes the percentage of the previous exams scored by the student into the account for ranking them. So the percentage in the 12th board is most important for U.G admission, similarly, graduation marks are considered for P.G courses (Programmes conducted in Arts and Science Colleges affiliated to the University). Other subjects have different criteria like for MBA, candidates have to clear CAT for M.Ed and B.Ed, one has complete graduation for B.Ed and graduation plus B.Ed for doing M.Ed.

In all the subjects, ranking matters a lot. Every selection in the university is based on ranking. As per the marks obtained by the students, the university takes out the allotment procedure. In this university as per the rank segregate the students and make two to three lists of the students.

On the day of allotment, candidates need to have the documents mentioned in the instructions.

Mahatma Gandhi University Result 2020

Once the form is submitted by the candidates, the university as per their rules selects the student on the basis of rank they got. Thus this is the actual step in getting into the university. Results are declared online. The result basically means the allotment date. Dates have already been mentioned by the university regarding different courses. Students are advised to check the details and result from the university’s site.  This university makes the student realize that how important it is to have a good mark.
