Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is the conducting body of the KCET exam. KEA will conduct the KCET Counselling 2021, tentatively from 1st week of June 2021. Only the candidates who will clear the KCET 2021 exam & hold the rank will be able to participate in the KCET 2021 Counselling. In order to do so, the eligible candidates have to register themselves and fill out their choice of colleges and courses for admission. The counselling involved various steps like document verification, choice filling, seat allotment & reporting at the centre. Candidates have to fill the choice of the colleges and brach as per their preference taking their rank into consideration.

KCET 2021 Counselling Procedure
Document Verification and registration –
Candidates will be required to reach the allotted counselling center as per the given schedule. After the documents have been verified, candidates will be issued a verification slip and only then the candidates will be able to participate in the option entry round. After verification candidates will be given a unique ID and password.
The following documents need to be verified:
- Admit card of KCET 2021
- KCET 2021 application form printout
- Proof of application fee payment
- Scorecard of SSLC/10th Standard
- Scorecard of 2nd PUC/12th Standard
- Two recent passport size photographs
- Study Certificate Countersigned by the concerned BEO/DDPI
- Any other required documents
Choice filling and Locking –
The candidate has to fill in the choices of college and course that he/she wants to opt for. Candidates must choose the college-course combination according to his/her preference. He/she must remember that options entered by them for the first round will remain constant for all the remaining rounds of seat allotment. No changes will take after the final submission.
Seat Allotment –
Candidates will be allotted a seat according to their ranks in the merit list and their college and course preference. Candidates will be required to log in and download the seat allotment letter. Qualified candidates will be required to report to the allotted institute with the required documents and the seat allotment letter. The admission of each candidate will be confirmed only after the payment of admission fees.
What After KCET Counselling 2021?
After the KCET Counselling 2021, seat allotment will take place. There will be 3 rounds of seat allotment: two will be the usual seat allotment rounds and the third one will be an extended round. KCET seat allotment 2021 will be done based on the candidate’s performance in KCET 2021, the choices filled for college and course and the availability of seats.
