To be eligible to get listed in Karnataka NEET merit list 2018, a candidate needs to secure minimum required percentile in NEET 2018 Exam, fill the registration form and attend the document verification session. Karnataka NEET Counselling 2018 Tie- Breaking Method
In case two or more candidates obtained equal marks in NEET 2018 exam, then to break the tie, the authority will follow a tie-breaking method. Merit Rank will be allotted based on the following procedure.
Marks in Biology – Candidates with the higher mark in biology will be allotted higher rank.
Marks in Chemistry – If the tie still persists, candidates with higher marks in the chemistry will attain higher merit position.
Marks in the qualifying examination – In case if the tie still exists, the aspirant having higher marks in the qualifying marks will be allowed better rank.
Age: Aspirants elder in age will be given higher preference.
