Karnataka MBBS Admission 2018: Second round Option Entry for Medical/Dental is opened upto 10-Aug-2018 7.00pm. KEA will be in charge of conducting the counselling for Karnataka MBBS Admission 2018 that will accept the NEET 2018 score for admission to the dental and medical colleges of Karnataka. Registration window for Mop – Up round is open now. Candidates can register themselves by logging to the official website. UG NEET 2018 – Medical / Dental Option Entry is extended and the last date for option entry is 03-Aug-2018 up to 5:30pm. Karnataka MBBS 2018 first round seat allotment list released. Candidates need to enter their valid CET number to access the list. Link to check the list is given below. The admission procedure will start after the NEET 2018 has taken place. Candidates have to first apply and fill the application form.

The counselling procedure will begin in the month of July 2018. The counselling is an important part of the admission procedure and candidates must not miss any minor yet crucial event which is getting admissions to the reputed colleges/institutes. The concerned authorities will start the admission process by publishing a provisional merit list wherein the candidates who have secured minimum required percentile in NEET 2018 and whose domicile is the state of Karnataka or passed Class 12 from Karnataka state will be listed. This merit list will be released tentatively in the first week of June 2018.

Karnataka MBBS Admission Merit List 2018
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released Karnataka MBBS 2018 merit list on June 25, 2018 (after 6.00 PM). Link to download the PDF is provided above. With the document verification session scheduled for June 28 to July 2, 2018, the applicant list will not be released by KEA. The Karnataka MBBS 2018 merit list will be published after the conclusion of the document verification session and will include all the candidates who have applied for admission to medical courses of the state and have verified their documents.
Karnataka MBBS Merit List 2018 Eligibility
To be eligible for Karnataka MBBS merit list 2018, a candidate needs to secure minimum required percentile in NEET 2018, fill the registration form and attend the document verification session. These candidates will be included in the provisional merit list of Karnataka MBBS 2018. The candidates can check the minimum qualifying percentile and equivalent marks of NEET 2018 from the table given below.

Karnataka MBBS Document Verification Session 2018
The document verification will start from June 28, 2018, onwards. Candidates who will successfully verify their documents will be included in the provisional merit list of Karnataka MBBS 2018. The candidates who have already verified their documents for CET are not required to attend the session. These candidates can download the verification slip from their student login. The session will be held at the helpline centres across various cities of Karnataka state. The verification for candidates applied for NRI/NRI Ward/OCI/PIO/Foreign Nationals/Category 2-8 can only attend the session St John’s Medical College, Bangalore.

All the candidates whose names have been listed on the provisional merit list of Karnataka MBBS admissions will be called for document verification. During document verification, candidates will be required to bring along the below-given list of documents. Failing to produce the correct document will lead to cancellation of the application of the candidates.

After verification of the documents is over, a verification list will be released. This will contain the list of all the candidates whose documents have been successfully verified. These candidates can then attend mock counselling sessions and know how the counselling procedure will take place.
