The Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research Result was declared in online mode in two forms – as merit lists and individual rank letters/scorecards. The result of JIPMER 2019 is first declared in the form of 11 different category-wise JIPMER MBBS merit lists containing the name of only those candidates who qualify JIPMER MBBS and two overall merit lists containing names of all candidates who appeared for JIPMER MBBS Exam.

Tie-Breaking Criteria of JIPMER 2019
If in case, more than two candidates score the same number of marks, then the Institution uses the Tie-Breaking method.
Negative Marking
Candidates who have less number of negative marking will be given priority and ranked higher over the other one.
Percentile in Biology
Candidates who score higher percentile marks in Biology will be ranked higher on the Merit List of JIPMER.
Chemistry Percentile
If the tie exists, then the candidate with a greater percentile in Chemistry will be ranked higher than the other one.
Percentile in Physics
If the tie is still the same, then the candidate with more marks in Physics will be scored higher.
Percentile in English and Comprehension
If the Tie still exists, then the applicant with higher marks in English and Comprehension will get a higher rank.
Percentile in Logical and Quantitative Reasoning
If the tie doesn’t break, then the candidate with more marks is Logical and Quantitative will get a higher rank.
Age
If all the above criteria fail, then the candidate older in age will get a higher rank than others.
JIPMER 2019 CutOff Marks
Candidates who secure less than the minimum percentile or cut-off in the entrance examination will not be considered for admission and their names will not be included in the merit list. The following marks in the table given below are the category-wise cut-off of the JIPMER 2019 exam.
