ISI Admission 2020: The Indian Statistical Institute, Commonly known as ISI, is widely considered as one of the leading institutes in the world for the study of statistics and related sciences. ISI has its headquarters in Kolkata. It also has a network of units at Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Pune and Mumbai involved in Statistical Quality Control and Operations Research. The notification for 2020 admissions in B Stat (Hons.), B Math (Hons.), M Stat, M Math, MS (QE), MS (QMS), MS (LIS), M Tech (CS), M Tech (CrS), M Tech (QROR), PG Diplomas and Research Fellowships programmes offered by the institute will be released in the month of February 2020. The selection of candidates for various courses will be through Written Admission Test and the subsequent interview.

Application Procedure for ISI Admission 2020
The Application Form of ISI 2020 will release in an online mode on the official website of the University. Candidates must fill the form and submit before due date. The Application Form of ISI will release tentatively on February 2020 and the last date for the submission of the form will be March 2020. It is important that the details in Application must be correct. Any incorrect detail will prohibit the candidate from taking admission to the course.
The Application Form of ISI 2020 will release in an online mode. The Application Form will have different sections. The applicant must provide with the Personal Detail, Academic detail, uploading the photographs and signature. The final submission is after the fee payment. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
Important Points Related to ISI Application Form 2020:
- The application form for ISI shall be available online on the official website.
- Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying exam may also apply but they must have passed the examination by 1st July 2020.

ISI Admission Exam Pattern and Syllabus:
The exam pattern is an important part of the admission as the candidate’s performance in the entrance test will determine the further procedure to be followed by them. The candidate must know the topics that will be covered in the entrance examination of Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) 2020. Admit Card For ISI Admission Test 2020:
The Admit card of Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) 2020 will release in an online mode and only those candidates who have successfully submitted the Application Form will be able to download it from the official website. The login link of ISI Admit Card 2020 will release as per on the announced date. The candidates must provide the credentials which are valid and correct.
The Admit Card of ISI mentions all the important details. It is important to check the details on hall ticket of ISI 2020. Candidates are advised that they get the multiple photocopies of the Admit Card on the day of the exam, in case the one downloaded gets lost or damaged on the day of the exam. Candidate must contact the authorities in case of incorrect details.
ISI Admission Answer Key 2020:
The Answer key of ISI 2020 will be released on the official website of Indian Statistical Insititute (ISI) a few days after the conduction of the entrance test. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download the Answer key. They can evaluate their performance in the entrance exam. The candidate must download the Answer key and cross-check the answers marked by them. On the basis of this, the aspirant can calculate the aggregate of their marks. They can check whether they will be able to qualify the exam or not. An option of objecting Answer Key will also be available. The revised Answer Key of ISI 2020 will be released, it must be noted though that the window of objecting the answer key will be only for a certain period and the candidate must apply within that.
ISI Admission Test Result 2020:
The ISI Results will be released in an online mode. The results of the admission test conducted by ISI shall be published online on their Admission portal. The list mentioning the names of the candidates who have qualified the entrance test will be mentioned in the PDF Result list of ISI 2020. The final admission will be on the basis of the marks secured in both the written and the Interview.
Candidates will be called for interview after the declaration of results of the written test based on their performance. The final results will be declared after the completion of the interview round.
The results can be viewed in the following steps:
- Visit the admission portal of ISI.
- Click on the link for results that shall be available there.
- Select your course in which you had given the test.
- Results will appear in pdf format.
- Download the result and take a printout for future reference.
Counselling for ISI Admission:
The counselling will be conducted by the examination conducting body of the Indian Statistical Insitute as per on the schedule which will be released by the authorities. Candidates who will be selected on the basis of the written test, as well as the Interview, will be required to appear for the counselling procedure for the final seat allotment to the applied course. It must be noted that the final seat allotment will only be on the basis of the Counselling and it will be important for the candidate to appear at the allotted institute.
The counselling schedule along with other instructions will be released and the candidates will be required to go through it carefully. Once the official notification will be released, selected candidates must go through the details thoroughly and must make sure that they bring all the required documents on the day of the counselling. The list of the documents will be provided and the candidate must also get the self-attested photocopies of every document on the day of the counselling. The payment of the Admission fee will also be on the same day as of the seat allotment. Candidates not following with the important instructions will not be eligible for the admission to the applied course.
The counselling procedure for admission shall include the following steps:
- The admission authority will release the list of selected candidates and the seats they have been allotted. Waitlists of candidates will also be published.
- Download the counselling call letter and visit the counselling venue in person on the appointed date and time as notified with the result.
- You must carry all your original documents along with a set of photocopies.
- Accept the seat allotted to you before the given deadline or it shall be forfeited.
- After getting your documents verified, you must pay the admission fees and confirm your admission finally.
