Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test 2019: The engineering aspirants who wish to take admission in the engineering colleges/institutes affiliated to HIMTU have to take HPCET Exam 2019. HPCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria
HPCET Eligibility Criteria: Before applying, candidates must make sure that they fulfil all eligibility criteria laid down by the exam conducting authority. The HPCET 2019 eligibility criteria will be based on various parameters like age, nationality, educational qualification, etc. Candidates can check if they fit into all HPCET eligibility criteria which is given below.
- Nationality – The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Educational Qualification – He/she must have qualified class 12th from a recognized Board / University
- Qualifying subjects – Candidate should have qualified with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects – Chemistry/ Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects.
- Qualifying Marks – Candidates belonging to the general category should have scored minimum 45% marks in aggregate while reserved category candidates should have scored at least 40% marks.
HPCET 2019 Application Form
HPCET Application Form 2019: All candidates who are going to appear for HPCET 2019 will be required to fill HPCET application form in the online mode. Candidates have to carefully fill up the application form with correct details. It is suggested that the information provided by each candidates should be in accordance with the documents possessed by the candidate. The application form will be incomplete without payment of HPCET 2019 Application fees. Applicants belonging to the ST, SC, and BPL category will be required to pay Rs. 1400 and those belonging to the general category will be required to pay Rs. 1550. This amount had to be paid through either the offline mode (PNB Challan) or through online mode (credit, debit card, net banking).
HPCET 2019 Admit card
HPCET Admit Card: The HPCET admit card 2019 will be released in the 1st week of May 2019. candidates who have filled and submitted the application form will be able to download their HPCET 2019 hall ticket in the online mode. The HPCET admit card will act as a proof of identity of the candidate. Candidates will be required to download the admit card from the download link provided here. The admit card will carry important information related to the examination like name and address of the exam venue, exam timings, photograph and signature of the candidate and other details. HPCET 2019 Exam Pattern
HPCET Exam Pattern 2019: When starting off with HPCET exam preparation, candidates must make sure to check the HPCET 2019 exam pattern. The exam pattern contains details about the exam like duration, mode of the exam, number of questions, marking scheme, etc.

- The exam will be held on the 13th May 2019 in the offline mode i.e. in pen and paper based mode.
- HP CET 2019 will be conducted for 3 hours.
- The question paper will be in the English language.
- There will be 3 sections namely Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- HP CET 2019 question paper will have 150 questions, 50 from each section.
- 2 marks will be rewarded for each correct answer and 1/4th marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.
