CLAT Application Form 2019: The last date for the submission of the Application Form was extended till 15th April 2019. The exam of CLAT 2019 will be conducted on 26th May 2019. The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is conducted every year for the admissions UG and PG law courses offered by 19 National Law Universities. The score of CLAT exam is also eligible to apply for admission to other 43 education institutes and two public sector institutes. In order of their establishment, CLAT is conducted by the 19 participating law schools in the rotation, in the order of their establishment. The exam of CLAT 2019 will be conducted by The National Law University Odisha, Cuttack.

Candidates interested in pursuing law will be required to fill up the Application Form which is available on the official website. However, it should be made sure by the applicant that the eligibility criteria prescribed are fulfilled. For applying to UG Law course, the candidate should have passed 10+2 whereas for applying to PG Law course the candidate should possess LL.B or equivalent degree. National University of Advanced Legal Studies grants admission in BA LLB and BBA LLB through Common Law Admission Test.

CLAT Application Form
The Application Form was required to fill up in completion by the aspiring candidates. In order to complete the Application Form, candidates will be asked to Register themselves first and then can proceed for filling the Application Form. The last step will be of submission of Application Fee, it should be noted that the form will be accepted only after the submission of the Application Fee. It should be made sure by the candidate that the information provided in the Application Form is valid and correct, the candidature is liable to be suspended in case of any incorrect information. The documents required while filling up the Application Form online are Educational Qualification Certificates, a soft copy of SAP certificate, Scanned copies of Photograph and Signature. Candidates are advised to keep the following documents ready in prior while filling up CLAT Application Form-

Step 1- Registration
Candidates will be required to register themselves if applying for the exam first time. The Link of the Registration will be provided on the official website. Candidates will need to Click on “Click here for New Registration”, provide details and should go through the instructions carefully before proceeding for the registration.
Step 2-Details to be filled in CLAT Application Form
Candidates will be asked to provide personal details and contact information. After the successful registration, the Registration Number and Password will be mailed on the Email ID provided by the candidate while registration. These credentials should be kept very carefully for future references till the admission procedure gets over. Details asked by the candidates while Registration will be:

After the submission of the details, candidates will be sent their Registration Number and Password and will get a confirmation email. These details will be required for accessing the Application Form.
Step 3- Uploading Images
Candidates will need to upload the scanned images of photograph and signature in the Application Form after providing some basic details. It is advised that candidate should make sure that the documents to upload are already arranged in prior. The photograph and signature uploaded should be clear and visible. Signature should be done on the white sheet with black pen. The specifications as prescribed are:

Step 4- Details in the CLAT Application Form
After uploading photograph and signature, the next step will be of filling up the details in the Application Form. This section will ask for the Personal Details, Educational qualifications, Nationality, Reservation Criteria, Payment of the Application Fee etc. The following details required in the Application Form will be:

- State of Domicile
- State of Residence
- State of Nativity
- Person with Disability
- Percentage of Disability
University Reservation Categories
This section will have the name of NLUs and the candidates will have to define their categories.

Step 5- Payment of the Application Fee
The last step will be of the payment of the Application Fee. The amount of the Application fee can be paid through Online mode or offline mode of e-challan. The candidate needs to pay the following amount of the Application Fee. However, it should be noted that once paid, the application fee will not be refunded.

Step 6- Submit the form and take a print out of it
After the successful payment, the application form should be submitted by the candidate online. Candidates should take a print out of the submitted Application Form for future reference.
