The AIIMS Result B.Sc Exam 2018 will be available on 22 June 2018 and for M.Sc programme is 11 June 2018. All appeared students can check their AIIMS B.Sc/ M.Sc/ M. Biotech Exam 2018 scorecard by visiting the official website. Students will be called for the counselling on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam.

The merit list will be prepared on the basis of performance of the candidate in the entrance exam. The name of the shortlisted candidate’s list will be published on the official site. Candidates will also be informed through email/SMS in the registered email Id and Mobile number. No separate call letter will be sent to the candidates by post.

Admit Card of AIIMS B.Sc/ M.Sc/ M. Biotech Exam 2018

The AIIMS Admit Card B.Sc Exam 2018 will be available on 16th May 2018 and for M.Sc programme, the date of publication is 18th May, 2018. Candidate can view and download the admit card by clicking on the link given above. Admit card is the most important document that must be carried on the examination day. Candidate without admit card will not be allowed to sit for the exam. Eligibility Criteria for AIIMS B.Sc/ M.Sc/ M. Biotech Exam 2018

Aspirants who are willing to apply for the AIIMS B.Sc/ M.Sc/ M. Biotech Exam 2018 exam must fulfil all the eligibility conditions issued by the authority. If the Candidates do not satisfy the eligibility conditions, then they will not be permitted to sit for the exam. So, applicants must check the AIIMS B.Sc/ M.Sc/ M. Biotech Exam 2018 eligibility criteria and norms once before the online application submission.

2) Candidate must have secured 50% for general/OBC (45% in case of SC/ST categories) in 10+2 or equivalent examination.

3)Candidate who are to appear in 12th class examination under 10+2 system or an equivalent examination in March/April 2018 and whose results are likely to be declared before 30th June 2018 are also eligible to apply.

4) Candidates who are due to appear at the qualifying examination, or have already appeared and are awaiting result, can also apply for admission. But such candidates must furnish proof of passing the qualifying examination with requisite percentage of marks and subjects at the time of counselling failing which their candidature will be cancelled.

The admission requirements for M.Sc. Anatomy, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Physiology,

Pharmacology and M. Biotechnology is the same as mentioned above, but the

requirements for (i) Perfusion Technology (ii) Reproductive Biology and Clinical

Embryology, (iii) Nuclear Medicine Technology iv), Cardiovascular Imaging and

Endovascular Technologies will be as mentioned below:

Perfusion Technology – B.Sc. with Biology (Botany & or Zoology) ORB.Sc. inPerfusion

Technology from a recognised University.

ii) Reproductive Biology and Clinical Embryology – B.Sc degree in any of the

discipline related to Biology or allied to Biology.

(iii) Nuclear Medicine Technology- B.Sc. degree courses in Nuclear Medicine from a

recognised University.

OR

B.Sc. degree with Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics from a recognized University.

OR

B.Sc. in allied/related subject i.e. Radio Diagnosis/Radiotherapy from a recognized

University.

OR

B.Sc. in life Sciences with Physics as a subject from recognized University.

(iv.) Cardiovascular Imaging and Endovascular Technologies – B.Sc. degree in

Radiography from a recognized University.

2.M. BiotechnologyAdmission requirements are same like other M.Sc. Courses along with B. Tech (Biotechnology)

which is also covered under eligibility criteria.

3.M.Sc. NursingB.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing /B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Certificate)/Post-Basic /B Sc. Nursing (4years) course from any recognised University, from an educational institution Recognised by the

Indian Nursing Council, with 60% marks for Gen/OBC candidates (55% marks in case of SC/ST candidates).

(ii) Registration as Nurse, RN, RM (Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife) with any State Nursing Council.

NOTE 1: For Indian Nationals, 5% reservation for Person with Benchmark Disability shall be provided on horizontal basis, in the seat available in M.Sc. Nursing courses. Eligibility criterion for candidates under this category as per the guidelines finalized by Nursing Council of India as amended from time-to-time.

4.For M.Sc / M.Biotechnology and M.Sc. Nursing CoursesCandidates who are due to appear at the qualifying examination, or have already appeared and are awaiting result, can also apply for admission but such candidate must furnish:

a) Proof of passing the qualifying examination on or before 31st July, 2018 with requisite percentage of marks and subjects failing which their performance at the Entrance Examination will not be considered.

b) All M.Sc. Nursing Candidates can submit certificate of Registration as a Nurse and Midwife from the Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council at the time of joining if they are selected.

c) All selected candidates for M.Sc. Nursing courses are required to furnish the proof of recognition of their college at the time of verification of their documents.

Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Nationals

Foreign nationals are admitted in AIIMS, New Delhi only. The eligibility criteria for foreign candidate will be at par with the eligibility criteria for Indian candidate. However, foreign nationals candidates are exempted from appearing in the entrance examination. Their admission will be made on the basis of marks/grades secured by them in the qualifying examination. The foreign nationals candidates are also required to fill in the registration form prescribed by the Institute for this purpose. The registration from should be routed through Diplomatic Channel. Applications received directly will not be entertained.

For Overseas citizen of India (OCI) :- Eligible for admission to all seven AIIMS

OCI registered under section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955 are also eligible to appear in this test and all terms and conditions applicable for Indian nationals given in this prospectus will be applicable to them. The candidate will submit proof of Registration as OCI under section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955 to be eligible to appear to this test.

The AIIMS Application Form B.Sc/ M.Sc/ M. Biotech Exam 2018 is invited in online mode from March 23rd, 2018 to April 12th, 2018. Syllabus for AIIMS B.Sc/ M.Sc/ M. Biotech Exam 2018

No syllabus has been prescribed by the examination conducting authority. However, students can refer the previous year’s question papers to get an idea about the standard of questions asked in the exam.

The Entrance Examination for B.Sc and M.Sc course (expect B.Sc Nursing) will be conducted in Delhi/NCR only.

Cut-Off for AIIMS B.Sc/ M.Sc/ M. Biotech Exam 2018

After few days of the publication of AIIMS B.Sc/ M.Sc/ M. Biotech Exam 2018 result, AIIMS will upload the cut-off marks on their official website. Candidates have to score above or equal to the cut-off marks to qualify for counselling round. Candidates will get admission to AIIMS on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test. Cut-off marks shall be determined based on factors like the number of applicants appeared in the exam, highest and lowest marks obtained by the candidates etc.

Counselling of AIIMS B.Sc/ M.Sc/ M. Biotech Exam 2018

Based on the merit list, the candidates will be called for counselling. The complete schedule of the counselling will be uploaded on the website. Two main rounds of counselling will take place and if required, an open counselling will be also held to fill the vacant seats in B.Sc/ M.Sc/ M. Biotech course, the number of candidates called for counselling will be 4 times the number of seats advertised for various categories. The order of counselling will be General/OBC/ST/SC.

When all the seats of unreserved category are finished then only counselling for reserved seats will be done. The counselling will be done strictly by combined merit list starting from Rank 1. The candidates in order of merit will exercise their choice of subject according to the availability of seats. The admission of qualified candidates to one of the seven AIIMS is purely based on her rank obtained in the entrance examination.

Seat Reservation of AIIMS B.Sc/ M.Sc/ M. Biotech Exam 2018

There is a definite number of seats reserved by the examination conducting authority in all the AIIMS for candidates belonging to special categories like SC/ST/OBC etc. Following table shows the percentage of seats reserved for each category in all the AIIMS

NOTE 3:- For Indian nationals, 3% reservation for orthopaedic physically handicapped shall be provided on horizontal basis, in the seats reserved.

FAQ about AIIMS B.Sc/ M.Sc/ M. Biotech Exam 2018

1) Can I modify my choices of city/centre of examination after completion of last date?

Ans: -No, the city/centre of examination once chosen and allotted will not be changed and no requests in this regard will be entertained.

2) Why does it take so long to provide the final status of my application?

Ans. Since some fields are editable till the last date of submission of registration form, the status can only be finalized after this period.

3) How do I get a password for logging in?

Ans: A Candidate ID and Password will be sent to you on your registered email ID and mobile number. You are advised to remember the password and also retain a printout of your Registration form and admit card till completion of admission process.

In case you forget your Password, go to the ‘Forgot login details’ link on the login page and enter the following information to get Password:

Candidate ID or date of birth.

Registered Mobile number.

Registered Email ID.

A Password will be sent to your registered email ID.

4) Do I have to indicate choice of AIIMS (i.e. AIIMS New Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur or Rishikesh) during Online Registration for Admission to B.Sc.(Hons.) Nursing?

Ans: No, you do not have to indicate your choice at the time of online registration. You will be able to exercise your choice at the time of counselling, if you are called. The order is strictly as per your merit.

5) How can I communicate through Email with the Examination Section, AIIMS?

Ans: You can communicate with the Examination Section, AIIMS using your Registered e-mail ID only. The email address of the examination section being – [email protected]

6) What are the documents required to be uploaded with my application?

Ans: -No documents are required to be uploaded during the online registration /application process, but you have to upload images of your photograph, left thumb impression and signature at the time of registration.

7) How many candidates will be called for 1st Round of counselling?

Ans: -In each category i.e. UR, OBC, SC and ST, the total number of candidates to be called for counselling will be four (4) times the number of seats available in each category.

8) What is the process of the 2nd round of counselling?

Ans:- The 2nd round of counselling is for the allotment of vacant seats available after the 1st round of counselling, and for the change of Institute allotted in the 1st round of counselling.

9) Are the original certificates/documents required during the 2nd round of counselling?

Ans:- Yes, candidates have to furnish original certificates and documents that were produced during the 1st round of counselling. Candidates who have been allotted seats in the 1st round of counselling must bring the certificate of depositing documents during the 2nd round of counselling.
