KCET Counselling 2025: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is the conducting body of the KCET exam. KEA will conduct the KCET Counselling 2025, tentatively from the last week of August 2025. Only the candidates who will clear the KCET 2025 exam & hold the rank will be able to participate in the KCET 2025 Counselling. KEA KCET 2025 Counselling Registration Procedure
Document Verification and registration –
Candidates will be required to reach the allotted counselling center as per the given schedule. After the documents have been verified, candidates will be issued a verification slip and only then the candidates will be able to participate in the option entry round. After verification candidates will be given a unique ID and password.
The following KCET counselling required documents need to be verified:
- Admit card of KCET 2025
- KCET 2025 application form printout
- Proof of application fee payment
- Scorecard of SSLC/10th Standard
- Scorecard of 2nd PUC/12th Standard
- Two recent passport size photographs
- Study Certificate Countersigned by the concerned BEO/DDPI
- Any other required documents
KCET Choice filling and Locking –
The candidate has to fill in the choices of college and course that he/she wants to opt for. Candidates must choose the college-course combination according to his/her preference. He/she must remember that options entered by them for the first round will remain constant for all the remaining rounds of counselling seat allotment. No changes will take after the final submission.
KCET Counselling Seat Allotment –
Candidates will be allotted a seat according to their ranks in the merit list and their college and course preferences. Candidates will be required to log in and download the KCET seat allotment letter. Qualified candidates will be required to report to the allotted institute with the required documents and the seat allotment letter. The KCET admission of each candidate will be confirmed only after the payment of admission fees.
What After KCET Counselling 2025?
After the KCET 2025 Counselling, seat allotment will take place. There will be 3 rounds of seat allotment: two will be the usual seat allotment rounds and the third one will be an extended round. KCET seat allotment 2025 will be done based on the candidate’s performance in KCET 2025, the choices filled for college and course and the availability of seats for kea.kar.nic.in KCET admission.
