How To Check The JEE Main 6th January Official & Unofficial Answer Key?

Candidates can check the official and unofficial answer key in the online form. Unofficial JEE Main answer key comes first and then the official answer key.

Unofficial JEE Main 6th January Answer Key

There are only a few institutes who provide the JEE Main Answer Key as per the dates, shifts, and sets. Unofficial answer key mainly comes on the day of the exam itself by the evening, or next day or 2 days or more days after as per the shifts.  In order to have the JEE Main 6th January Response Sheet, candidates have to follow certain procedures.  The steps are:

• Click on the link and get the answer key as per the date and shift.

NTA Official JEE Main Answer Key 6th January 2020

After the JEE Main 2020 exam gets over, NTA will release the official JEE Main answer key. In order to check the official answer key candidates have to follow a certain procedure.

• Visit the official site of JEE Main
• A home screen will display on the screen
• Locate the link for the provisional and final answer key
• Click on the link and check their performance.

How To Challenge JEE Main 6th January Answer Key 2020?

Once the answer key is out, candidates will go through the answer key along with the question paper and their response along with the answer key provided. By doing this, they will be able to estimate their scores in the exam. It may happen that the candidates will feel that the answer provided in the response sheet is incorrect and their answer is correct. Looking into the previous trend it happens sometimes. Candidates can claim the question only on the official JEE Main answer key. This will be done by paying Rs 1000 for 1 question and requests will be forwarded to NTA. Accordingly, further steps will be taken.

The steps are :

• Visit the JEE Main official website
• Locate “Click here to login” and click on it
• After login, candidates will find the link regarding ‘Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key’.
• Candidates will see the Question IDs for Papers.  The ID for a particular question ‘Correct Option’ column is the correct Answer Key to be used by NTA. If candidates think that it is incorrect, they can click on the checkbox beside any one or more of the Option IDs given in the next four columns. Just look down below for the example.

•  Click on ‘Save your Claim’ and move to the next screen where candidates will see a display of all the challenged Option IDs.
• To upload supporting documents, select ‘Choose File’ and upload. Note that the supporting documents for all questions that the candidate has challenged should be put in a single PDF file.
•  Click on ‘Save Your Claim Finally’. A screen displaying all your challenges will appear on the screen.
•  Click on ‘Click here to Pay Fee’ and select Mode of Payment and make payment of your processing fee (Rs.1,000/- for each question challenged) through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking.
