Eligibility Criteria Of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Admission 2025
Candidates who seek to gain admission in NVS must first check if they are eligible or not. Furthermore, we have mentioned the eligibility criteria candidates have to abide by. Check below.
District
- The candidates who belong to the district where JNV is established are eligible to apply. However, if the branch is divided into two, then the old JNV should be kept in mind while taking admission in JVST. This is applicable in the case where the new Vidyalaya in the new district hasn’t started.
Age
- The candidate who aspire to take admission in JNVST, must not be born before 01-05-2007 & after 30-04-2011(both days are included). This rule is applicable to all the categories of students. However, if there is any confusion between overage and certificate recorded age, then the candidate must approach the Medical Board in order to confirm the age. Subsequently, the decision made by the board will be termed as final.
Govt. School
- The aspiring candidate sitting for the selection test must be studying in class 5th for the whole academic year of 2020-20. It must be a Govt./Govt. Aided or recognized school or “B‟ certificate competency course of National Institute of Open Schooling in the same district where the candidate is seeking admission.
NIOS License
- A school is recognizable if it is declared so by the Govt. or its affiliations. The School from where the students have obtained The “B” certificate under National Institute of Open Schooling must have a NIOS License.
Academic Year
- The aspiring applicant must have successfully completed class 5th the academic year 2020-20. Then the candidate are granted admission in the class 6th.
Rural Quota
- Candidates who seek to take admission in nvs through rural quota must have studied and passed class 3rd, 4th and 5th from a Govt. (aided or recognized school). They must have studied at least one full academic years in a rural school area.
Date
- Candidates must pass “B” certificate competency course of National Institute of Open Schooling on or before 30th September 2020 in order to become eligible to write an admission test. However, they must be within the prescribed age group.
Admission Date
- Furthermore, the candidate who has not been promoted or admitted in class 6th before 15th September 2020 will be deemed ineligible to apply.
Allowance
- Candidates can not appear in the selection test twice, no matter what the circumstance is.
JNVST Application Form 2025
Candidates are required to fill the Application form of JNVST in order to take admission in NVS. The application form must be availed from the official website of the NVS (www. Navodaya gov.in 2025). Furthermore, candidates must keep scanned images ready before filling the application form, as it would be required at that time. Subsequently, aspirants must pay the application fee in order to successfully register themselves.
Fee Structure Of Navodaya Vidyalaya 2025 Admission
In most cases, the candidates’ registration is only deemed successful once he/she has paid the application fee. However, candidates applying for NVS admission are not required to pay any application fee. The registration is free of cost.
