Telangana MBBS Admission 2018: The registration window for Telangana MBBS Admission 2018 is now open. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria must register and fill up the application form till 26th June 2018 (1 PM). Link to register is provided in the registration section given below. The admission to the undergraduate course of Bachelors in Medicine and Bachelors in Surgery (MBBS) offered in the state of Telangana will be made through the NEET 2018 score. All the candidates who want admission in the central, private and government medical institutions in the state of Telangana can apply for the admissions. Earlier, the state used to conduct its own medical entrance examination but from the year 2017, the state decided to consider the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) score to provide admissions to candidates.

The admission procedure will involve taking the NEET 2018 examination, filling up the application form of Telangana MBBS admissions, and attending the counselling for the same. The counselling will be conducted by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Telangana. The counselling will be conducted for the 100% state quota seats in the government medical colleges of Telangana. Telangana MBBS Eligibility Criteria

Prior to filling up the application form, candidates must make sure that they possess all the eligibility criteria set by the admission conducting authority. The eligibility criteria are conditions based on certain parameters like age, qualification, passing marks, etc. Only the eligible candidates must apply for Telangana admissions 2018.

Telangana MBBS 2018 Registration form

The Telangana MBBS Registration form for the admission procedure released online on 21st June 2018 (8.00 AM) and will remain available till 21.06.2018 (1 PM). All the candidates who wish to seek admission in the MBBS course have to fill the registration form and submit it before the last date of submission. First, candidates will be required to register online with a valid email ID and password. After this, the applicant must fill in his/her personal and academic details as well as provide the NEET 2018 details.

The Application form will be considered incomplete without the payment of the application fee. The registration and verification fee is Rs. 3,000/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for OC/BC categories and Rs.2,500/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for SC/ST categories. The application fee has to be paid by credit card, debit card or net banking. This fee will be non-refundable. The submission of the application form has to be done in offline by submitting the print out of the application form along with the required documents.

Telangana MBBS Merit list

KNR University of Health and Sciences will release the merit list of Telangana MBBS admissions 2018. The provisional merit list will be published online in the 3rd week of June 2018. The merit list will be released on the basis of marks scored in NEET 2018 by candidates. The merit list will include the name of the candidate, All India Rank of the student, NEET 2018 rank, date of birth, NEET 2018 roll number, etc. Those candidates who are listed under the provisional merit list will be called for document verification and after the verification is done, a final merit list will be released.

Telangana MBBS Counselling

The counselling for Telangana MBBS 2018 admissions will be conducted by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Telangana in the 1st week of July 2018. The seat allotment will take place on the basis of the rank, the preference of colleges and availability of seats. The counselling will be held in offline mode. After the documents have been verified and final merit list released, candidates, will be required to exercise their web options. At the help centers, eligible candidates will be required to fill the choices of college in which they are looking for admission.  Candidates must log in to their individual account to get the list of colleges and lock their choices.  Those who have been allotted seats in the desired college will be sent an allotment letter which has to be downloaded.

At the time of Offline counselling, candidates will be required to produce the following documents for verification:

  4. 12th Admit Card and Mark sheet
  5. Caste certificate
  6. Proof of local status
  7. PH, NCC and Sports Certificate

  10. Minority Certificates
  11. Residence Certificate of the Candidate or Either Parents (If studied in the institutions outside of Andhra Pradesh)
  12. Latest Income Certificate (If claiming fee exemption)

While reporting to the counselling center, the candidates must carry with them all the original certificates (mentioned above) along with two sets of self-attested Xerox copies and print out of online application form duly signed with photograph affixed at the space provided.
