U.G programs are affiliated with the Arts and Science Colleges of Mahatma Gandhi University. In this university, candidates can fill the form for only one college. Having more than one application form submission will result in the rejection of the form. Candidates can apply online for MG University, Kerala. Before filling the application form, candidates are required to keep a scanned copy of all the documents required. Also, have the scanned copy of the photograph and signature.

Mahatma Gandhi University Admission 2024

Mahatma Gandhi University takes admission in the U.G and P.G courses on the basis of the rank list. It does not conduct any kind of entrance exam for any of the courses except in MBA which need a clearance of CAT exam and other MBA entrance exam. The entrance test takes place for Ph.D courses. After filling the application form of Mahatma Gandhi University, the university ranks the students according to their marks acquired by them in their previous exam. And thus students are provided with the allotment dates.

Mahatma Gandhi University eligibility 2024

MG University has released the notification regarding the allotment of the students in the respective courses. The basic requirement for the courses is listed below.

Programs conducted in Arts and Science Colleges affiliated to the University.

UG Courses: Candidates are required to have passed the intermediate or equivalent exam recognized by the university.

 P.G courses: Graduate in the respective subject

For admission to various PG programs conducted in statutory teaching Departments/ Schools of the University, candidates have to clear CAT-MGU 2024 for the courses listed by the university. For MBA – Clear the entrance exam held at all India level.

B. Ed – Must be a graduate.

M.Ed – completed graduation + B.Ed

MHRD– Graduate from Mahatma Gandhi University or an equivalent degree of any other Universities duly recognized by M.G University with not less than 55% marks in Science and Technology subjects and 50% marks in other subjects in the aggregate for all parts of examinations OR a Master’s Degree examination with 55% marks in aggregate.

• Note: Only a pass in any Bachelor’s Degree examination is needed for SC/ST candidates

Mahatma Gandhi University Application Form 2024

The Application Form Mahatma Gandhi University 2024 will be available online. Students can apply for the university by visiting the site. They have to download the admission form and ten along with the required document one can submit the form in the respective college. One should keep in mind that only one application form is to be submitted by the candidates for one college. If the person applies for more than one subject then colleges/universities will reject their application process. Hence be careful while applying for the MG University. Some of the course application forms will start from 5th March, others started in the month of May and will last till June. As per the subject applied by the students, they must look into the date.

MG University Semester Exam Form 2024

The Mahatma Gandhi University releases the Semester Exam Form for the candidates who are appearing for the Semester Exam. The examination form will be available online. Candidates have to enter their Name, Roll Number, Father’s and Mother’s Name, Semester Details, etc.

Mahatma Gandhi University Exam Pattern 2024

There is no exam pattern for the entrance exam because the selection of the students is based on the rank prepared by the university. The ranking in the admission process will release on the basis of the performance of the candidate. However regular courses exam conducts every year.

Mahatma Gandhi University Syllabus 2024

For the new session 2024-23, there is no such syllabus because students are selected on the basis of rank prepared by the university. However, subjects in the regular courses have a syllabus that is prescribed by the university. Each course contains the syllabus as per the pattern of the subject. Mahatma Gandhi University Allotment procedure 2024

In MG University admission procedure for different courses is based on ranking. University takes no entrance exam for the selection of the students. University takes the percentage of the previous exams scored by the student into account for ranking them. So the percentage in the 12th board is most important for U.G admission, similarly, graduation marks are considered for P.G courses (Programmes conducted in Arts and Science Colleges affiliated to the University). Other subjects have different criteria like for MBA, candidates have to clear CAT for M.Ed and B.Ed, one has complete graduation for B.Ed and graduation plus B.Ed for doing M.Ed.

In all the subjects, ranking matters a lot. Every selection in the university is based on ranking. As per the marks obtained by the students, the university takes out the allotment procedure. In this university as per the rank segregate the students and make two to three lists of the students. On the day of allotment, candidates need to have the documents mentioned in the instructions.

Candidates who have been allotted will have to report the admitted college after the payment of the fees. The Payment of the admission fees will be through Online. The applicants have to download the allotment memo and bring it at the time of admission.

The College Authorities should provide a receipt that will be available on the Online Admission Portal. This states that necessary entries in respect of the reported candidate have been made online admission portal. Candidates must collect the same from the college authorities without fail.

MG University Seat Allotment Protocol

• The Allotment of the Seats in the colleges will be on college/institution-wise.
• If a candidate has the benefit of SEBC Reservation or Scheduled Caste Claim. Then the seats will be offered in the following hierarchy.
  • • • State Merit List – Candidates who are included in the Rank List are eligible for the allotment under State Merit List.
      • Communal Reservation (SEBC/SC/ST)
      • A candidate without SEBC/SC/ST Reservation benefit will be considered against the “State Merit List” if the seats are available at the time of allotment.

About MG University

Mahatma Gandhi University is located in Kottayam, Kerala. It has not released the notification regarding the admission process for the session 2024-23. Every year university welcomes students for the U.G, P.G, B.Ed, M.Ed and MHRD courses. Students can apply for U.G courses tentatively from May 2024 and for P.G also from May 2024 to June 2024.
