SAAT stands for Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Admission University test. The exam is conducted for admission to B. Tech courses. The admission is to engineering courses is also offered through JEE Main 2019 scores. Appearing candidates must know the eligibility criteria. Candidates will be offered admission in various undergraduate courses in the field of engineering, management, pharmacy, technology. SAAT 2019 will be conducted in both online mode as well as offline mode. The online examination will be held from 14th to 28th April 2019 while the offline examination will be held on 21st April 2019.

SAAT Admit Card 2019

All aspirants who have filled and submitted the application form with correct details will be able to download the SAAT 2019 admit card. The hall ticket is available in the online mode from 10th April 2019. Candidates will be able to download the hall ticket by providing the application number and password. It is one of the most important documents that the candidate must carry to the exam centre on the day of the exam. Without the hall ticket, no candidate will be allowed to take the SOA admission test.

SAAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the entrance examination, students must make sure they possess all the eligibility criteria as laid down by exam conducting body. The SOA university has laid down following eligibility criteria.

  • Candidates must have passed or appeared in class 12th or equivalent from a recognized board.
  • Candidates must have taken Physics, Mathematics along with Chemistry/Computer Science/Information Technology/Biotechnology/Biology/Informatics/ Statistics/Technical Vocational Subject or any other subject.
  • Applicants must have passed with at least 45% for the general category and 40% in case of SC/ST/OBC.

SAAT 2019 Application Form

All candidates who are going to appear for the exam have to fill and submit the SAAT 2019 application form. The application form has been made available only in the online mode from 5th December 2018 to 7th April 2019. Applicants can register for the same from 23rd November 2018. The registration form has been made available on the official website as well as here. Candidates must provide only the correct personal and education details in application form. Only the registered candidates of SAAT will be allowed to take the examination. Please note that there is no application fee for candidates. All those who have successfully filled the application form will be informed through registered mail Id.

SAAT Exam Pattern 2019

Before appearing for the SAAT Exam 2019, candidates go through the complete exam pattern prescribed by the exam conducting body.

  • The Exam will be held in online computer based mode as well as offline written exam.
  • The exam will be held for 2 hours i.e. 120 minutes.
  • There will be 120 multiple choice questions.
  • Medium of question paper will be English.
  • There will be 40 questions from Physics, chemistry and mathematics.
  • 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

SAAT 2019 Syllabus

Entrance Examination is conducted for admission to various courses. Exam Syllabus is different for various courses. The syllabus will carry all topics from Physics, chemistry and mathematics studied in class 11th and 12th. SAAT 2019 Result

After the SAAT exam has been conducted, SOA, deemed to be University has released the result. SAAT result 2019 has been declared in the online mode 1st May 2019. Candidates will be able to know their performance through the results. Only those who have taken the Admission test will be able to check their results from the student portal. The Result of SAAT will reflect the overall score of the candidate in exam.

The exam conducting body will be releasing the cut off. The cut off is the minimum qualifying marks that will be released. Candidates who secure marks equal to or higher than the cut off will be listed in the merit list.

On the basis of the score obtained, a merit list will be prepared. The merit list will contain the names of candidates who will be called for counselling. Merit list contains the name of the shortlisted candidates eligible for counselling. Applicants having a higher rank in the merit list are called first for counselling. The Merit list was released for different courses separately. Candidates could check and download the merit list by visiting the official website.

SAAT 2019 Counselling

The SAAT 2019 counselling will be conducted on 7th May 2019. The university will conduct the SAAT open counselling. Candidates will be required to enter their choice of course and colleges during the counselling. For final admission, candidates will be required to report to the counselling venue with the required documents.

Candidates will be allotted seats based on their Rank, the choices filled and availability of seats in the course. Those who have been allotted a seat, will be issued provisional seat allotment letter on the official website. Candidates have to download the letter, complete the verification of documents and pay the academic fee for confirming the admission.
