WBJEE Medical Counselling 2025
The candidates will have to first register online for the WBJEE medical counselling. During the registration, the students will be asked to enter personal details and their institute preferences. Candidates will also have to submit Rs. 500 as the counselling fee. Note that the students failing to pay the fee on time will not be allowed to take part in counselling. Further, the students must be aware of all the important counselling events and dates. The authorities may send notifications, students should however have an idea of the schedule. In addition, the official notice for the counselling will be released, wherein the important dates will be mentioned.

WBJEE 2025 Counselling Procedure
WBJEE Medical Counselling will comprise of certain stages following which the counselling procedure will be carried out. Candidates need to complete all the stages successfully to get admission. In addition, counselling will be carried out in accordance with the merit list. The counselling is conducted in a no. of rounds. This procedure continues until all the seats are allotted. Further, the stages or the complete counselling procedure is as follows:
1. Online Registration
Candidates will have to register first for the counselling, which will be done in online mode. Only the registered students will be eligible to take part in the rounds of counselling. Further, the students can follow the below-mentioned steps to register successfully.
- Visit the Official Website WBJEEB- www.wbjeeb.nic.in
- On the homepage, click on the “New Registration”
- Then you will have to enter the exam roll number, application number, name, date of birth, and security pin.
- Then click on the “Submit” button.
- After completing the registration process successfully, the students will be asked to enter their choice of preference of medical institutes. Note that the seat allotment process will be carried out as per the filled in choices only. Moreover, do lock your choices before the due date and submit it. If choices will not be locked and submitted on time, then the mentioned choices will get locked automatically.
2. Payment of Counselling Fee
After the registration, candidates will be redirected to the Counselling Fee gateway. Note that the payment can be done in online mode only through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. However, the fee can be paid through e-challan as well, which is payable at Allahabad Bank. Moreover, the counselling fee is Rs.500/- for all category students. Do not forget to get a copy of the payment slip, as it will be required for future references. Further, do keep the identification number and password safe.
Is the Counselling Fee Refundable?
Yes, the counselling fee is refundable, however, there is a procedure that has to be followed for the same. Candidates will have to report to the centre where the provisional letter was issued. Further, by considering the rules framed by the board and the Ministry of Human Resource, the fee will be refunded.

3. Fill in the Choices
After the fee payment, students will be asked t की वजह से उन्होंने किसी से शादी नहीं की o enter their choice, of course, institute, or college. Candidates will further be able to enter as many choices as they want. However, note that they must be in the order of preference. That is, your first preference should be at the top. Note that this facility will be provided once only. Hence, the students must fill in their choices carefully. After this, you will not be able to make any changes.
Points to Remember during Choice Filling:
Candidates should keep a few points in mind while filling their choice of preference. This facility is provided once only, hence there is no space for mistakes. Further, the points one should keep in mind are as follows:
- It is important that the students fill in the choices carefully and after analyzing all the factors. As the entered choices will be taken into consideration during the seat allotment process.
- Further, the students can fill in as many choices as they want. There is no restriction on the no. of choices that can be filled. However, you must enter the choices in order of preference. That is, your preferred choice must be at the top.
- In addition, Before filling in the choices, make sure to check WBJEE Medical Cutoff to know their chances of entering the participating institutes.
- Further, after locking the filled in choices, you will not be able to make any changes. Therefore, it is advised to make the choices carefully and checking them before locking them.
- Moreover, do take the printout of the filled-in choices after locking them for future reference.
- Candidates can apply for general seats Tuition-Fee Waiver (TFW) as well.
- Candidates can further make the choices in the first round only.
- Furthermore, the online portal only shows up the seats available that lie in the eligibility criteria of the candidates.
4. Seat Allotment
The next step of the counselling round will be the Seat Allotment. In this step, the authorities will consider the filled in choices, candidates’ rank, seat matrix, and the reservation policy. Further, after analyzing all these factors, the seat allotment process will be carried out. The authorities will then release the seat allotment list, wherein the candidates’ details and that of the allotted institute will be mentioned. If the student is not satisfied will be allotted institute, then he/ she can wait for the next round as well. Moreover, after this procedure, the students will have to report to the allotted institute.
5. Document Verification
The next stage of the counselling procedure is document verification. Candidates will have to report at the allotted institute along with original and photocopies of the below-listed documents. Note that without the documents, your admission may get cancelled. Furthermore, the documents must be authentic and details on them should be correct. The officials of the respective institute will check all the details and then grant admission to students. The documents that will be required during the counselling procedure are further mentioned in the table given below.

6. Reporting at Allotted Medical Institutes
After the document verification, the selected candidates will be provided with the reporting date and time. Candidates will have to report to the allotted institute to confirm their seats. Further admission processes will be carried out. Candidates must also carry the original and photocopies of the documents listed above. Only after the verifications, the seat will be allotted. Can I change the College after the Allotment Process?
Yes, the students who have taken provisional admission in the first round will be able to change their college. However, to do the same, candidates will have to change their willingness from YES up-gradation to NO up-gradation. In addition, note that the vice-versa is not possible after the second round of counselling. Furthermore, to make the required changes, you need to report to the centre where the provisional letter was issued to you.

WBJEE Medical 2025 Merit List
The merit list plays an important role in counselling, as the students placed at higher ranks are given preference during the counselling. In the WBJEE Merit List, the students are segregated on the basis of merit. The students with higher will easily get admission to their choice of medical college.
