How do I correct the information written by me while filling the WBJEE 2025 application form?
Candidates can correct their mistakes/ errors during the “WBJEE Correction Window”. However, it is not possible to correct any primary data, e.g. Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, and Gender.
What is a Correction Window?
It is a period of normally 3 days after the closure of WBJEE online application. During this time period, the candidate can correct any data or image of his/her application except any primary data, e.g. Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, and Gender.
My application number was not sent to my mobile number, what should I do?
Candidate must enter a valid mobile number while filling the WBJEE Application Form. Also, the network connection should be good, so that the SMS is not missed.
What do I do if I forget my WBJEE Login password?
Use “Forgot Password” link. Further, follow the procedure as per the link directs you. There is no other method available.
What is the minimum and maximum age requirement?
The lower age limit is 17 years as on 31.12.2025. There is no upper age limit. However, for admission to the degree level Marine Engineering Course The upper age limit is 25 years as of 31.12.2025.
Can I change my choice of WBJEE examination zone?
No. There is no option to change the exam centre of WBJEE. Hence, candidates must select the choices carefully while filling the WBJEE Application Form.
What is eligibility criteria for getting admission to a particular college?
The eligibility criteria for admission into institutes and colleges is published before the counselling. Hence, candidates can read the information bulletin to become aware of the eligibility criteria.

Candidates can correct it during the correction window.
What is the required date of issue of Domicile Certificate?
It certifies that the candidate resided in West Bengal continuously for the last 10 years as on 31.12.2025. Hence obviously, the date of the certificate must be later than 31.12.2025.
What is the required date of issue of Income Certificate?
It certifies family income of the financial year 2025-22. Hence obviously, the date of the certificate must be later than 31.03.2025
What is the required date of issue of Caste Certificate?
There is no restriction on the date of issue of caste certificates.
What is the percentage of disability for being eligible in PwD category?
40% to 70%.
What is “Admin approval required” after re-uploading of photograph and signature?
In case, it comes to the notice of the Board that the photograph or the signature uploaded by a candidate is not as per the specified requirement, an SMS will be sent to candidate’s registered mobile number. Then, they have to re-upload the corrected photo/signature. This revised image is then approved by the Board, which needs about 3 days of time. If a candidate logs in during these 3 days, he will see an alert message as “Admin approval required”.
What happens if I do not re-upload correct photograph or signature?
If a candidate does not re-upload corrected photo or signature, then WBJEE admit card 2025 cannot be issued.
Any date limit for taking photographs?
No date limit, but the photograph must be recent so that it matches with the candidate’s physical features.
What do I do if I forget to download or lose the Confirmation Page?
A candidate can get a duplicate copy of Confirmation Page. In order to get a duplicate confirmation page, the candidate has to apply to the Board and pay a processing fee of Rs. 500/- by a bank draft in the name of “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board” payable in Kolkata.
Is the application fee refundable if I do not sit for the examination?
No.
What do I do if the Confirmation Page is not generated even if the fee is deducted from my bank account?
Confirmation Page is automatically generated when the payment is received at Board’s end. If it is not generated, it can be due to payment failure/break before it is received by the Board. In such a case, the candidate should make the payment again. As per rule, the failed payment is reversed by the Bank. Of course, the Board has nothing to do with it.
What do I do if I forget to download the transaction receipt?
EPG generates the transaction receipt. The Board doesn’t require it. But if there is a payment failure/break at the end of EPG, the candidate may need it to recover his money from the EPG.
What are the things I must carry on the examination day?
Carry the following documents to enter the examination centre.
- A hard copy of admit card of WBJEE-2025
- A copy of the colour photograph (similar as the one in online application)
- Any photo identity card in original such as Aadhar card/ PAN card /Passport/ Voter ID card/ 10th standard admit card/ School – ID card.
How many seats are available for JEE-Main candidates?
10% of approved seats in Private & Self-Financing Engineering & Technology Colleges shall be available for admission through JEE-Main-2025.
Can I get a duplicate Rank Card if the original one is lost?
If a candidate needs a duplicate rank card even after completion of e-counselling and admission conducted by the Board, the same can be provided, but only till 31/08/2019. In order to get a duplicate rank card, the candidate has to apply to the Board and pay a processing fee of Rs. 500/- by a bank draft in the name of “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board” payable in Kolkata.
