Telangana Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 2025

The candidates who wish to apply for the Telangana Scholarship must primarily check the eligibility criteria & its status. In case the candidate is found to be ineligible, then the candidate will not be sanctioned the scholarship amount. Furthermore, the one Telangana Minority Orverseas Scholarship eligibility which is common for all the scholarships, is that the candidate must have a domicile of the state of Telangana. Telangana Pre-Matric Scholarships For SC/ST/BC/Disabled Welfare

  • In order to apply for this scholarship, the candidates must belong to SC/ST/BC/EBC/Minority/Disabled Categories.
  • Also, they must be studying in class 9th & 10th.
  • Furthermore, the annual income of the candidate’s family must be less than INR 2 Lakh (For SC/ST Students & BC/Minority Welfare Students Of The Urban Area)
  • And INR 1.5 Lakh (For BC/Minority Welfare Students Of The Rural Area) & INR 1 Lakh (For EBC/Disabled Welfare Students)
  • Also, the candidate must have an attendance of 75% & above at the end of each quarter.

Telangana Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) For SC/ST/BC/Disabled Welfare

  • In order to apply for this scholarship, the candidate must belong to the SC/ST/EBC/Disabled Welfare Categories.
  • Also, they must have passed & scored at least 75% attendance at the end of each quarter.
  • Furthermore, this scholarship is for the students who study at the matriculation level (class 11 to postgraduation).

Mahatma Jyothiba Phule BC Overseas Vidya Nidhi, Telangana

  • This scholarship is open to students who belong to the Backward Classes & also wish to pursue a postgraduate course from a foreign university.
  • Also, the candidate must have secured at least 60% or more marks in the foundation degree in streams such as engineering, management, pure science, humanities, social sciences, agriculture sciences, medicine & nursing.
  • Furthermore, the candidate must not be more than 30 years of age as on 1st July, of the year of application.
  • Moreover, the annual income of the candidate’s family must not exceed INR 1.5 Lakh (in rural areas) & INR 2 Lakh (in urban areas).
  • Also, the candidate must be a single child of the family.

Telangana National Talent Search Examination

  • The class 10th students who are studying in a recognized school in Telangana can apply for this scholarship.
  • The candidate who is selected for the National Means Cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS), & who are studying in class 10th can apply for this scholarship if they wish to forego with the NMMS scholarship.

Telangana National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS)

  • This scholarship is for the students of class 9th & for their continuation studies in class 10th & 12th.
  • The students who are studying at NVS, Sainik Schools, KVS & private schools are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
  • Furthermore, the annual income of the candidate’s family must not exceed INR 1.50 Lakh.
  • Also, the minimum percentage requirement in class 8th exam is 55% or equivalent (relaxation of 5% is available for SC/ST students).
  • Furthermore, if the candidate wishes to appear for the selection test of the scholarship, then the applicant must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent in class 7th ( relaxation of 5% is available for SC/ST students).
  • If the candidate wishes to ensure the continuation of his scholarship in class 10th, then he/she must get clear promotion from class 9 in the first attempt, with at least 55% marks or equivalent (relaxation of 5% is also available or the SC/ST students).
  • Furthermore, for the continuation of the scholarship in class 11th, the student must get clear promotion from class 10th in the first attempt, also with at least 60% marks or equivalent (relaxation of 5% is also available or the SC/ST students).
  • In case the candidate wants to continue his scholarship in class 12th, then the candidate needs to get clear promotion from class 11th in the first attempt with at least 55% marks or equivalent also (relaxation of 5% is available for the SC/ST students).

Chief Minister’s Overseas Scholarship Scheme For Minorities

  • In order to apply for this scholarship, the candidate must belong to the minority community.
  • Also, the candidate must be a graduate or a postgraduate student with at least 60% marks in streams like Engineering, Pure Sciences, Management, Social Sciences, Humanities, Agriculture Sciences & Medicine & Nursing.
  • Also, the candidate must be willing to pursue a postgraduate. doctoral course abroad in USA, UK, Canada, Singapore & Australia.
  • Furthermore, the annual income of the candidate’s family must not exceed INR 2 Lakh from all sources.
  • Also, the candidate’s age must not exceed 30 years as on 1st July of the year of application.

Vidyadhan Scholarship Program

  • This scholarship is for the candidate who has passed class 10/SSLC from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala & Maharashtra.
  • Furthermore, the annual income of the candidate’s family must not exceed more than INR 2 Lakh from all sources.

Mahatma Jyothiba Phule BC Overseas Vidya Nidhi, Telangana 2025

This scholarship is run by the Government Of Telangana. Its primary aim is to motivate the backward class students in order for them to pursue higher education in foreign universities. The candidates who are the only child of the family can apply for this Telangana Scholarship. However, they must have secured 60% or more in their foundation degree in Management, Engineering, Pure Sciences, etc. Furthermore, this scholarship covers institution fees, living expenses, education loans, passage grant & visa fees.

Imperial College Business Scholl Advisory Board Scholarships 2025

In order to apply for this Telangana Scholarship, the candidates must be pursuing a full-time MBA course from the imperial college business school. However, they must also meet the specified eligibility criteria. Furthermore, the meritorious students who have three years of quality postgraduate work experience can apply for this Scholarship For Telangana Students. Also, they must meet the required level of GMAT or GRE scores. Thereafter, each successful candidate will receive an amount of GBP 51,000.

DLF Foundation Scholarship (AKANKSHA) 2025

The DLF Foundation is the official authority that provides the Telangana Scholarship to the underprivileged students. Its primary aim is to provide the students with better career opportunities. Thereby helping them in living an improved livelihood both for themselves & their families. Furthermore, the meritorious students who are entering their first year of UG or PG course. And also who has secured seats for any of the courses of UGC/NAAC approved institutes or colleges can apply for this Scholarship For Telangana Students. Furthermore, each selected scholar will further be awarded an amount of INR 50,000 p.a.

Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme 2025

The primary aim of this Telangana Scholarship is to provide talented students with specialized training in diverse cultural fields, whilst focusing on the rare art forms that are on the peak of extinction. Therefore, the candidates who belong to the age group of 10 to 14 years. Also, studying in a recognized school, whilst belonging to families, who practice traditional performing arts are eligible to apply for this Scholarship For Telangana Students. Furthermore, the selected students will be awarded INR 3,600 per annum & up to INR 9000 of reimbursement.

Lok Sabha Research Scholarship 2025

The Parliament of India provides this Telangana Scholarship to research scholars falling under the age group of 25 to 70, in order for them to undertake high standard research on parliamentary themes. Furthermore, the candidates who have a master’s degree in any of the disciplines of social science along with an outstanding research publication at the time of application with expertise in her/her own domain can apply for this Telangana Scholarship. Subsequently, an amount of INR 1,00,00 will be provided to the candidate. In addition, the selected candidates will be provided with the INR 50,000.
