RGUCET Admission 2025: Application Form, Exam Dates, Eligibility, Admit Card, Result

RGUCET Admission 2025 for UG/PG/PhD courses will be in online mode. Rajiv Gandhi University, located in Itanagar conducts RGUCET.  Formerly known as Arunachal University, it is one of the oldest Universities of Arunachal Pradesh. It conducts the Rajiv Gandhi University Common Entrance Test, RGUCET for admission to UG, PG, PhD, diploma, and certificate courses. Candidates aspiring to take admission in RGU can apply online by visiting RGU’s official website. Candidates are enrolled in courses like B.Sc. B.C.A, B.F.A, B.P.Ed, B.MUS through RGUCET 2025. The university will conduct a written entrance test for RGUCET admission 2025. Moreover, it also facilitates distance learning programs. However, M.Tech applicants who have a GATE score are exempted from sitting for RGUCET Entrance Exam 2025.

RGUCET is a multiple-choice based (M.C.Q) test. It also has a negative marking scheme. It deducts 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. However, 1 mark is awarded to candidates for each correct answer. The duration of RGUCET is 2 hours. RGUCET is a 100 marks tests. It tests candidates in many sections. Therefore, 75 questions are based on the domain knowledge of the course, while the other 25 questions test the candidate’s general aptitude.

Admissions to the various courses are done on the following basis –

• Lastly, the Certificate Courses Admission is done on the basis of the Merit.

RGUCET Semester Exam Form 2025

Candidates have to fill and submit the RGUCET Semester Exam Form in order to appear the exam. The  RGU Exam Admission Registration Form is available online on its official website. Candidates have to fill all the necessary details and submit the form before the deadline date. However, the form will be available separately for the Even and Odd Semesters.

RGUCET Syllabus 2025

Candidates aspiring to sit for RGUCET must be thorough with the syllabus. They can access the syllabus from the University’s official website. It will help them further in scoring better. In RGUCET, 25 Questions are the same for every candidate. The 25 MCQs tests a candidate’s general aptitude. Whereas, the rest 75 questions, are based on the candidate’s selected subject. Therefore, the candidate must prepare accordingly. They must tackle each section separately. They should subsequently clear all their doubts before they sit for the exam. This way, they will easily be able to ace the RGUCET Admission.

RGUCET Admit Card 2025

Only registered candidates will be able to access the RGUCET Admit card. Candidates can access the admit card from the university’s website. Since there will be no entry without the admit card, candidates must carry the admit card to the allotted examination venue. Candidates must check the details on the admit card. However, if there is an error in the admit card, candidates must contact the concerned authority. Candidates must also carry the required proof of identity along with the admit card.

Rajiv Gandhi University Semester Hall Ticket

The Semester Admit Card of RGU will be available online at rgu.ac.in just a few days before the exam date. Candidates have to download the hall ticket by submitting their Enrollment ID/Number. Carrying the RGU Exam Admit Card is mandatory while appearing the exam. The Admit Card will be available separately for each semester exam.

Answer Key of RGUCET 2025

The answer key will be released by Rajiv Gandhi University after RGUCET 2025. The candidate can evaluate his/her performance in the exam by accessing the answer key. Upon evaluation, If the candidate has qualifying marks then they can start preparing for the subsequent admission process. The answer key will be available in a pdf format. Candidates must visit the RGU’s official website in order to download the answer key. It will be accessed from under the “Importance Notice” section.  They can also challenge the answer key. Therefore, candidates must download and print the answer key for future references.

RGUCET Result 2025

Candidates can access the RGUCET admission entrance test result online. However, only registered candidates will be able to access the result. It will be available in an online mode. Candidates must visit RGSU’s website in order to access the RGU result 2025. They will have to log in with their id and password. The information provided must be valid. The result can not be accessed with invalid credentials. They must save and print their result for future reference. The qualifying candidates will be further selected for admission. However, candidates who do not qualify RGUCET will not proceed further.

RGU Semester Exam Result

The Semester Exam will be available online on its official website. Candidates who have appeared in the RGU Semester Exam can check the result online. The result will contain the candidate’s name and roll number along with the qualification status.

RGUCET Counselling 2025

The RGUCET admission qualifying candidates will further be called for RGU counselling. They must be on time at the venue of counselling. Any request for the change of date and time of the counseling will not be entertained. They must carry certain documents at the venue of the counselling. Without proper document verification, no admission will be granted to the candidates. The documents must be valid. Any invalid document will lead to admission cancellation.

The candidate must be present in person during the counseling process. The final admission will be granted to the candidate after successful fee payment. Candidates must carry, documents like a 10+2 mark sheet, category certificate if applicable, qualifying certificate etc.

Q. Is it possible to apply for multiple courses?
Ans: Yes, it is possible to apply to multiple courses. Candidates can do so through a single application form. However, they must be eligible for the desired course.

Q. How can one pay the application form Fee?
Ans: Candidates can pay the registration fee via online mode only. Therefore, they must use the Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI.

Q. Is it possible to opt for BCA without Mathematics as a compulsory subject?
Ans: No, it is not possible to apply for BCA without mathematics as your core subject. Since you do not meet the eligibility criteria.

Q.If I made an error while filling the application form, do I need to register again by using a different Id?
Ans: No, you do not have to register again. Since the portal only allows you once to register from the same Id. Therefore, you can edit the application form by clicking on the edit option available at the bottom of the page. However, this can only be done if you haven’t paid the fee already.

Q. My result is yet awaited. Can I then submit the application form?
Ans: Yes, you can. You must choose the “Result Awaited” option from the drop-down menu while you fill-up the result section of the application form. But, remember, you must carry the original documents at the time of admission if you are selected. Since you will be asked to produce valid documents at the time of counselling.
