Punjab Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 2025

The candidates who will be applying for Punjab Fellowship must check the fellowship eligibility criteria. Any ineligible candidate who applies for the Punjab Fellowship will not be sanctioned the Punjab Fellowship rewards. Therefore, the candidates must check the eligibility before applying for Punjab Fellowship.   • In order to apply for this scholarship, the candidate must be studying at the post-matriculation level i.e. (class 11 to postdoctoral level) from a recognized institution/school.
  • Also, the annual income of the candidate’s family has limited to INR 1 Lakh per annum. Therefore, the family’s income must not exceed INR 1 Lakh.

  • In order to apply for this scholarship, the candidate must be studying in class 1st to 10th.
  • Also, the annual income of the family must not exceed INR 44,500 per annum.

  • The annual income of the candidate’s family must not exceed INR 2 Lakh from all sources.

  • In order to apply for this scholarship, the candidate must belong to the following communities, Sikhs, Muslims, Parsis, Christians, Jains & Buddhists.
  • Also, they must be pursuing undergraduate & postgraduate courses in Technical, Nursing, Pharmacy, Professional Management, etc.

Punjab Scholarship Amount/Reward 2025

The candidates who successfully registered themselves & are eligible for the Punjab Fellowship will be able to sanction the Punjab Scholarship amount/reward. The Government of Punjab offers both merit-based & means based scholarship to the deserving students. Some Punjab fellowship portals provide cash rewards via the Direct Transfer Benefit (DTB) while others provide financial assistance in the form of a fee waiver. Pre-Matric Scholarship For Minorities, Punjab
  • The candidates will revive the maintenance allowance of INR 600 per month (class 6 to 10) for hostellers.
  • Also, the candidates will revive the maintenance allowance of INR 100 per month (class 1 to 10) for hostellers.
  • Furthermore, admission Fees of INR 500 per annum or actual (for class 6 to 10)
  • Tuition Fees of INR 350 per month or actual (for class 6 to 10)
Post-Matric Scholarship For Minorities, Punjab
  • The candidates will receive admission & tuition fees of up to INR 10,000 per annum.
  • Also, they will be provided with a maintenance allowance of up to INR 1200 per month for hostellers & INR 550 per month day scholars for a 10-month duration.
Merit-cum-Means Scholarship For Minorities, Punjab
  • The candidates will be provided with a maintenance allowance of INR 1000 per month for hostellers & INR 500 per month for day scholars for a duration of 10 months.
  • Also, they will get a course fee of INR 20,000 per annum or actual for both day scholars & hostellers.
