Candidates who wish to pursue a career in medicine and dentistry can take the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test also known as NEET. It is a single common entrance exam that students can take after completing their class 12th for admission to MBBS and BDS courses offered in various colleges across India. NEET Results 2018
After the students have taken the exam, the Board has announced the results of NEET 2018 online on 4th June 2018. The result will be displayed in the form of a scorecard where an All India Rank will be given to the candidate. Anil Swarup, the present secretary of HRD Ministry, Govt. of India has confirmed that CBSE, the official examination conducting authority of NEET UG 2018, is going to declare the NEET UG 2018 Result on 4th June 2018 instead of 5th June 2018. Candidates who took the NEET UG 2018 Exam in offline mode need to enter the valid roll number and date of birth to access their result.
The NEET entrance exam will be held in pen & paper mode on 6th May 2018. After one month of the entrance test, the result will be declared. The result will be announced on 4th June 2018 (announced). Highlights of NEET 2018 Result

- NEET Score Card is available only in the online mode.

NEET UG 2018 Merit List
The NEET UG merit list 2018 will be prepared in percentile determined on the basis of highest marks secured by the candidates in the NEET Exam. The merit list for 15% All India Quota will be prepared by Central Board of Education (CBSE) board. Candidates will get admission in colleges or universities as per their position in the merit list. NEET 2018 Merit List Tie-Breaking Criteria
In order to prepare the merit list, the authority shall use the tie-breaking method. In case candidates score equal marks in the NEET Examination, tie-breaking method will be considered. The tie-breaking mention of NEET 2018 exam is mentioned below :
- Students obtaining higher marks in Biology subject in NEET 2018 exam.
- Students securing higher marks in Chemistry subject in NEET 2018 exam.
- Candidates with less number of wrong question attempts in all subjects of NEET exam.
- After applying all the above methods of tie breaking the tie remain, students older in age will be considered.

NEET Counselling 2018
After the declaration of NEET UG Results 2018. Candidates have to participate in the counselling process followed by the admission in the respective allotted colleges. Counselling for 15% All India Quota Seats (MBBS/BDS) will be regulated by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). NEET 2018 Counselling registration (All India Quota) will be started from 12th June 2018. Candidates have to participate in the counselling process conducted by their state medical admission authorities.
Candidates can check and calculate their score after the Board has released the NEET 2018 official Answer Key. NEET Rank is the main factor while determining NEET Merit List. The marks secured by candidates out of 720 will determine their actual ranks in the final merit list of NEET.
